Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.

Story
Water Skimmer has been through alot in her short life. She came from South Carolina after being given away. She arrived to Kitsap County with a homeless family and lived with them for awhile. She received vaccinations and an exam through KARE and just a couple days after that was abandoned tied to pole. KARE stepped in to take over her care. Since she was from the south we tested her for heartworm and unfortunately she turned out positive. She is about a month into her heartworm treatment which should be completed in 4-5 months. She will be a foster to adopt so KARE can cover her entire medical treatment. This dog is an absolute doll. She just wants to be with her people, she will sleep in your bed with you if you allow it. She will need to be kept quiet and relaxed while in treatment. She likes to play with some dogs although gets a little humpy when aroused. So being an only pet would be best for her. Cats are a big no as they are too fun to chase. She is ok being in a crate to rest or would love to cuddle next to you on the couch. This girl has lots of love to give- don't waste minute to come meet her. She has beeb around kids but we have not tested her personally.

Story
Hi, my name is Brax! I’m approximately seven months old and weigh around 35 pounds. My people think I may be a German Short Haired Pointer/Blue Heeler mix-but whatever I am, I’m 100% lovable! I have a heart as big as Texas and truly love everyone I meet. I was found roaming a neighborhood with a few other dogs, with no owner in sight. Thankfully, a kind person stopped to help me, and now I’m safe and ready to find my forever home. I’m so grateful for my second chance! I’m a well-mannered boy, both house trained and crate trained. I have never chewed on anything I was not suppose to, but I have plenty of toys in my foster home. I walk on a leash and absolutely love getting out and about—whether it’s a neighborhood stroll or a future hiking adventure (hint hint) I am a smart pup and already know a few commands. I’m dog friendly and would be happy to have a furry sibling, but I’d also do just fine soaking up all the love as your one and only. I have been socialized with both large and small breed dogs. I have never been around cats so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. My people describe me as sweet, energetic and well-rounded—the kind of dog who fits right into a family and makes every day a little brighter. I might be better suited for kids eight and up because I am a rambunctious puppy that could accidentally know over a smaller child. I have been around children starting with the age of 9. There are nine grandkids that come to visit. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped—ready to go home with you! Could I be your perfect match? Please email adopt@thezoeygroup.com for application instructions.

Hi, my name is Snickers! I am approximately 18 months old and weigh 50 pounds. I am a beautiful girl with all my spots. My people think I may be a German Short Pointer mix. I am good with other dogs and welcome fur friends to play with. I have never been around cats so my people are going to say no to a home with Furry felines. I love people. If you have pets and hugs, I am willing to receive them. I am a sweet girl with a lot of love to give. I am not a crazy barking dog. I can be as energetic as needed but I also know how to calm down. If you need a pup to just hang out with and provide company then I am your girl. I ride well in the car and love to feel the wind in my face. I can totally envision myself at an outside cafe just people watching. How fun would that be?! I am house trained and walk well on a leash. I love to be out and about and go on grand adventures. Camping?! Bring on the s’mores! I am healthy, spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. If interested in applying, please email adopt@thezoeygroup.com for application instructions.

Story
Meet Nellie! 💕🐾 Nellie is a sweet, affectionate girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She absolutely loves people and has a way of turning just about everyone she meets into a new friend. She may give a little bark when someone approaches, but once she realizes they’re there to say hello, she’s all about the pets and attention. Nellie would be a wonderful match for an active person or family who enjoys being outside. She has plenty of energy, strong athletic legs, and would likely make an amazing walking, hiking, or even running buddy. She’s still working on her leash manners, but she’s already showing that she can stay close and listen with some guidance. She’s also incredibly food-motivated, which makes training with her both fun and rewarding. In just a couple of weeks with her foster, Nellie has already made huge progress with crate training. She now settles much more calmly and will even choose to go lie in her crate on her own during the day. Nellie can be a little unsure about certain new experiences, especially things like the bath hose, but with patience, encouragement, and a little coaxing, she continues to improve. She’s the kind of dog who just needs someone willing to show her that the world is a safe and exciting place. After spending some time without the exercise and attention she deserved, Nellie is more than ready for her fresh start. She’s loving, playful, active, eager to learn, and full of potential. All she needs now is a family who will give her the adventure, consistency, and love she’s been waiting for. 💗 Could Nellie be your new best friend? Story
Luna Goofy Buttercup knows how to make a little affection go a long way. It doesn't take long at all for this girl to become your bestie. A little sweet talk, some ear scratches, and soon this sweet girl is diving head first into belly rub position at your feet. Once you're there get ready- her comes her goofy side! Go watch Luna on YouTube to meet the sweet girl behind the belly rubs and catch a little of the personality her foster gets to enjoy every day. Copy and past this link into your browser. https://youtu.be/0-XulT6ASBw Luna is estimated to be a year old, and we believe she’s a Pointer mix, though her age and breed are our best guesses. She’s fostered in a loving home with an older woman and has been gentle and sweet with her. That everyday connection is a lovely glimpse of Luna -a young dog learning about home life and doggie manners from her foster and making it look easy. Luna's foster shares that she is house and crate trained and a good passenger in the car. A little boost getting in, with some sweet talk for encouragement, gets her on her way. Then she’s happy to come along for the ride. Luna does not live with other dogs in her foster home which helps us understand that despite enjoying a game of chase with a doggie friend, she could be perfectly happy as your only dog. She enjoys the company of her people and loves having a spot beside you all her own. If she joins a home with another dog, her best match would be a gentle companion over 25 pounds who enjoys a comfortable pace and gives her room to get acquainted. Thoughtful introductions will help their friendship get off to a good start. A home with a yard would suit Luna beautifully, giving her a familiar place to explore, stretch her legs, and enjoy time with her people. She has a medium energy level, a goofy streak, and a possible interest in splashing around. Her curiosity about the small backyard pool has us wondering whether water play might become one of her favorite hobbies. Luna’s sweetest qualities are already shining in her foster home. She’s gentle with her person, generous with her affection, and awfully cute when she decides it’s love-time. She’s ready for a family who will enjoy getting to know her and give her plenty of reasons to feel at home. Apply to adopt Luna today!
