Animal Information: May was found abandoned in an orchard in Eastern Washington with her three puppies, Lola, Bonita, and Bonny. Thankfully, our friends at Yakima Valley Pet Rescue brought the little family to safety. She weighs 42lbs and is estimated to be around 2 years old. Since being rescued, May has been friendly with both people and other dogs. She's been staying in a temporary foster home in Yakima with several other dogs and has done well with everyone she's met. As a German Shorthaired Pointer, May will do best with an active family that can provide the exercise, training, and mental stimulation her breed needs. We're looking forward to getting to know her better as she settles in and helping her find the right forever home. Foster Profile: Calling all GSP lovers! May is an active friendly girl waiting for a family to call her own. She loves all people and dogs she meets and is not shy when warming up to new people. She also knows how to read the room if another dog is not interested in playing with her and she carries on with her business. She is fairly active and loves to play and run but has an off switch and is always down for some snuggles. She is working on leash training and will benefit from continued training and structure to help her learn the ropes. She seems mostly disinterested in the cats she has met while out on walks so she will likely do well in a home with a kitty sibling, further cat testing can be done upon request. She will be an ok apartment dog if her family is committed to meeting her exercise needs. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, heartworm test if indicated, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. Hi, my name is Brax! I’m approximately seven months old and weigh around 35 pounds. My people think I may be a German Short Haired Pointer/Blue Heeler mix-but whatever I am, I’m 100% lovable! I have a heart as big as Texas and truly love everyone I meet. I was found roaming a neighborhood with a few other dogs, with no owner in sight. Thankfully, a kind person stopped to help me, and now I’m safe and ready to find my forever home. I’m so grateful for my second chance! I’m a well-mannered boy, both house trained and crate trained. I have never chewed on anything I was not suppose to, but I have plenty of toys in my foster home. I walk on a leash and absolutely love getting out and about—whether it’s a neighborhood stroll or a future hiking adventure (hint hint) I am a smart pup and already know a few commands. I’m dog friendly and would be happy to have a furry sibling, but I’d also do just fine soaking up all the love as your one and only. I have been socialized with both large and small breed dogs. I have never been around cats so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. My people describe me as sweet, energetic and well-rounded—the kind of dog who fits right into a family and makes every day a little brighter. I might be better suited for kids eight and up because I am a rambunctious puppy that could accidentally know over a smaller child. I have been around children starting with the age of 9. Hi, my name is Snickers! I am approximately 18 months old and weigh 50 pounds. I am a beautiful girl with all my spots. My people think I may be a German Short Pointer mix. I am good with other dogs and welcome fur friends to play with. I have never been around cats so my people are going to say no to a home with Furry felines. I love people. If you have pets and hugs, I am willing to receive them. I am a sweet girl with a lot of love to give. I am not a crazy barking dog. I can be as energetic as needed but I also know how to calm down. Animal Information: Tigger was spotted running around a dirt lot with abandoned vehicles on it in the Stanislaus area. He was trapped with two other small dogs, and brought into the shelter. He wound up on the euthanasia list due to lack of space, even though he is a playful, happy puppy. Our rescue partners sent out a plea to help him, and we saw his playful personality and had to say yes. Tigger is fun fun fun fun fun! We can't wait to meet this guy and find him a perfect family here in the PNW! Foster Profile:  This little guy is such a love bug! He wants all the cuddles and belly rubs. He has so much energy but is so good at grabbing toys and playing with them by himself. He has taken over the dog bed and brings all the toys over! He loves to meet people and is such a brave little guy with all the new sights and smells.  He is a puppy working on learning some manners. He’s very treat oriented and is a smart cookie.  With training and routine this guy is going to be the best boy.
