FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Calliope! Calliope is a 4.5-year-old, 60 lb Pointer/Lab mix who is ready to find an active home where she can settle in, decompress, and enjoy life with her new family. This sweet, outgoing girl has an adventurous spirit and would make a wonderful companion for someone who loves spending time outdoors. Calliope is an active, athletic girl who enjoys getting out and exploring. She would love a home with a large, securely fenced yard where she can stretch her legs, roam, and play, or an active family that will include her in plenty of walks, hikes, and adventures. With her enthusiasm for the outdoors, she has all the makings of an amazing hiking buddy! She is smart, treat motivated, and eager to engage with her people. Calliope would benefit from adopters who are excited to continue working with her on basic obedience and leash manners while providing the structure, exercise, and mental enrichment she needs to thrive. Calliope prefers slower, thoughtful introductions when meeting other dogs and will do best with people who can help her feel comfortable and allow her to build confidence at her own pace. After spending time in a shelter environment, she is looking forward to a home where she can relax, settle into a routine, and show her family just how wonderful she is. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, adventurous companion who will happily join you on the trails and share in all of life’s adventures, Calliope may be the perfect match for you! Calliope is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450.

Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.

Animal Profile: Marley is a 4-year-old, 60 lb neutered male mixed breed (DNA test showed German Shorthaired Pointer, Lab, Pitbull). He came to us as a puppy and was adopted but returned several years later due to anxiety around the young toddler in the home. Marley is friendly with other dogs but he has exhibited prey drive with the cats in his foster home, so we will not be considering homes with cats. He is discerning with new people but not reactive and  is a loyal companion to his people.. He is nervous with small children who don't respect his space. He is house trained, crate trained, and has good basic obedience training. We will share more as we get to know him in foster care.  Adopter Profile: Other dogs OK (not required) Dog-savvy older kids considered Fenced yard preferred Large breed experience  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was rescued from Texas as a puppy and adopted after a short stint in foster care. He was returned several years later due to failure to acclimate to the toddler boy in the home. Story
Barkley is the sweetest pup with lots of energy. Always looking to play but also loves to snuggle. She is just about 6 months old, we adopted here at 2 months old from NOAH. We simply just dont have enough time to give her the play and walks she deserves, we have two little ones that she loves with a third on the way which is also part of why we need to rehome her. We also have a cat and older dog that she does great with, she's a little in the cats business but as to be expected with a puppy. She would do great in a home with property or someone who has time to get out with her. She would make a great hunting dog, she does catch critters on occasion already. She sleeps in the kennel overnight as of right now just due to her being a puppy still and curious about everything. We are hoping to find her a home with acreage or someone who is experienced with puppy training and has time to take her on plenty of walks. We can be flexible with her adoption fee her having a good home is first.

Story
Pip is a beautiful, loving and fun-loving dog. She has tons of energy to play, and she always wants to be close to her humans. I've had Pip since she was only 6 weeks old. Sadly, I am looking for a new family for her now due to a change in my work, and need for me to travel more. Pip has been my dream dog: amazingly intelligent, eager to work, eager to please, always happy to play and very loving to people and kids. She's great at fetch and frisbee. She is bicycle trained, and she loves to run. An ideal new home for Pip is a family where there are multiple people who can interact with her, because she does thrive on being near humans and having regular interactions with people. Pip enjoys snuggling with her humans, but she's not the kind of dog to sleep all day - she definitely wants to play, to fetch, to tug, and to walk and explore with her humans. In terms of breed, she *looks* very much like a chocolate lab but acts like a Pointer (GSP), including the classic 'point' gesture.

Story
Hi, my name is Brax! I’m approximately seven months old and weigh around 35 pounds. My people think I may be a German Short Haired Pointer/Blue Heeler mix-but whatever I am, I’m 100% lovable! I have a heart as big as Texas and truly love everyone I meet. I was found roaming a neighborhood with a few other dogs, with no owner in sight. Thankfully, a kind person stopped to help me, and now I’m safe and ready to find my forever home. I’m so grateful for my second chance! I’m a well-mannered boy, both house trained and crate trained. I have never chewed on anything I was not suppose to, but I have plenty of toys in my foster home. I walk on a leash and absolutely love getting out and about—whether it’s a neighborhood stroll or a future hiking adventure (hint hint) I am a smart pup and already know a few commands. I’m dog friendly and would be happy to have a furry sibling, but I’d also do just fine soaking up all the love as your one and only. I have been socialized with both large and small breed dogs. I have never been around cats so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. My people describe me as sweet, energetic and well-rounded—the kind of dog who fits right into a family and makes every day a little brighter. I might be better suited for kids eight and up because I am a rambunctious puppy that could accidentally know over a smaller child. I have been around children starting with the age of 9. There are nine grandkids that come to visit. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped—ready to go home with you! Could I be your perfect match? Please email adopt@thezoeygroup.com for application instructions.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Spot is an adorable 5-month-old purebred Dalmatian who is looking for his perfect forever family. Spot has shown signs of hearing impairment, which is not uncommon for Dalmatians. He is an incredibly loving boy, and will thrive in a home that has experience with deaf dogs, or is open and committed to learning. Spot came to us with his siblings from a sanctuary in Northern California, where he spent the first part of his life around animals of all kinds. He is well socialized with people and animals, and very friendly and loving! Since he grew up on a farm, big city life is new to him. He will do great with a family that will continue socialization and exposure. He loves other dogs and would do best in a home with another playful dog friend, especially to follow since he is hearing impaired. Being a puppy, his forever family will need to be prepared for all things puppy, potty and basic obedience training, etc. Spot would do best in a home with a fenced yard to safely roam and play. Spot loves attention from people, and would love a forever family that will include him in adventures and shower him with love. Dalmatians can be high energy, and he will need a family that will be active with him. Spot is UTD on shots, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $650.

Story
Meet Chip! 🖤🤍 Chip is a 5-month-old purebred Dalmatian puppy Chip an outgoing, and sweet boy who absolutely loves people and is always ready to make a new friend. Chip came to us from one of our partner rescues in California along with his siblings. Before joining us, they were raised at a sanctuary surrounded by many different types of animals, giving them early exposure to a variety of environments and animal friends. While he’s well-socialized with other animals, he’ll still need continued socialization, basic obedience, and puppy training as he grows into a well-mannered adult. This sweet boy is incredibly affectionate and thrives on attention. Whether he’s leaning in for pets, following you around the house, or snuggling up after a day of play, Chip’s loving nature shines through. He also enjoys playing with other dogs and ideally would love a canine companion to romp around with in his forever home, though he could also do well as an only dog if his family is committed to providing regular playdates, socialization, and enrichment. Like all puppies, Chip is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and consistency needed to help him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, fun-loving best friend who will fill your days with laughter and unconditional love. Dalmatians can be high energy, and will need a forever family that is committed to keeping them active and well exercised. Chip is neutered, microchipped, and UTD on shots. His adoption fee is $650.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED ❤️ Louie (FKA: Bronson) is a ~1 year old, 35lb, Dalmatian mix. He came to us as a stray from California. We do not know his history, but when he came to us he was completely shut down, terrified of people and underweight. He will require a special forever home that is quiet, calm, and can provide the environment he needs to decompress, gain confidence and trust, and come out of his shell. He has already made great improvements in his foster homes, and is opening up and trusting slowly! Bronson spent all of his time in a crate when he first came to us, outside of bathroom breaks, as he was absolutely terrified to leave that ‘safe space’. In his foster home, he has a guest room all to himself where the crate door is left open, and he will now venture out and explore the room, following his foster parents around cautiously but curiously, with his favorite spot being cuddled up on the couch. He is curious, and interested in people, he just needs time. He does take treats from your hand and is starting to relax and enjoy being pet! Bronson is house-trained, and crate-trained. He hit a major milestone recently, going on his first short walk outside, and now enjoys daily walks going further each time! In the kennel environment he would not walk on leash, and would look for any exit or place to hide. He has also started to play with toys (which he loves!) and is learning how to be a puppy when he feels safe and secure. While in our care, we have had Bronson with many dogs and he has largely been disinterested because he was so scared. He currently lives with two medium dogs and has been kept separate right now while he is decompressing and learning to trust his foster parents, but he is curious about the other dogs! He would likely benefit from a calm, confident dog in the home to help him feel comfortable and show him how to dog. But would not do well at this time with a hyper or pushy dog. We have see great improvements in Bronson during his short time in foster care, and are confident that with a continued environment that is calm, loving, and willing to let him progress at his pace, he will thrive. He is a very sweet boy and will make an amazing dog for the right home! He has shown that in his foster home he does want to be around people once he can trust them, and he will likely bond deeply to his forever family. Bronson would do fine in a free standing home or apartment, but will need a quieter neighborhood. He would not do well living in a busy city environment, or an apartment that is not on the first floor. No young kids due to him being fearful and skittish, but he loved the teenage girl in his first foster home! Bronson is neutered, UTD on shots, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500.
