PLEASE VISIT THIS WEBSITE TO FIND THE ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE: http://www.homewardtrails.org/adopt-a-pet/adoption-forms/ HOW TO MEET THIS ANIMAL: Fill out the application and we will follow up with you! We will connect you to his foster! LOCATION: Foster home ADOPTION COORDINATOR: Sue B (sueb@homewardtrails.org) ADOPTION FEE: The adoption fee for this dog: $595 ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 65 lbs is our best guess ESTIMATED AGE: 7 months in Jan. 2026 KNOWN WITH DOGS: A typical puppy - friendly, outgoing, playful and curious. Loves other dogs so would do well in a home with another one…or can be an only pup if you promise to get him some friends! As Buffy is on the shy side she relishes the guidance of another dog! KNOWN WITH CATS: Her foster home has two cats. If the cats are calm, she is calm and just sniffs. She will often lay near a calm cat and do nothing at all. She will chase after them *playfully* if they run. She is learning. She has shown ZERO aggression towards them. KNOWN WITH KIDS: Great. She can be excited and jumpy sometimes – typical puppy behavior but does well with the kids in her foster home. KNOWN COMMANDS: Is learning lots – foster will gladly share with you all that she is learning! KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: She's doing excellent, very quiet in her crate. She knows when it s bed time. She often will just go in there for some quiet - though she also loves stretching out on the couch. She is also doing great in housebreaking, although a dog in any new environment may have accidents as they acclimate. KNOWN LIKES: Playing, treats, napping, chewing and romping in the sun. KNOWN DISLIKES: None know so far. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Buffy is an adorable girl who would love to finally find her adoptive home. She is great with kids and dogs and lives well with cats. She is on the shy side so a patient home without too much chaos would be ideal. Story
Betty is a 6-month-old female puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s full of spunk and absolutely loves to play, whether it’s romping around with other dogs or exploring her world with curiosity and enthusiasm. She is incredibly loyal and loving with her people and truly shines when she feels connected and secure. Betty can be a little bossy with other dogs at times, but it comes from her playful nature—she gets along well with them and genuinely enjoys having furry friends to play with. When it comes to cats, Betty is very curious. She’s not quite sure what they are yet, but she’s eager to be friends and approaches them with interest rather than fear or aggression. Betty is searching for her person or a family who will love her unconditionally and give her the guidance, patience, and affection she deserves. In return, she has so much love, loyalty, and joy to give. With the right home, Betty will grow into an amazing lifelong companion. If you’re looking for a playful, loving pup who’s ready to bond deeply with her forever family, Betty just might be your perfect match. Local adoption fee is $350(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $600 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Max Lee!🐾 Max is a one-year-old schnauzer/terrier mix weighing about 9 pounds, and he’s as sweet as they come! This little guy has never met a stranger — he’s friendly with everyone he meets and just wants to be your best friend. Max loves attention, cuddles, and playtime in equal measure. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playful fur sibling to romp around with. Max is also great with children and would make a wonderful addition to any family. Mealtime is his favorite part of the day (he’ll make sure you know when it’s dinner time!), and he’s mostly potty trained. He does well using pads if one is left out — though fair warning, he also thinks they make great toys if they’re not stuck down! Speaking of toys, Max is a little dog with a big love for play. His new family should be “toy rich,” because he can really put them to the test! When it’s time to wind down, Max sleeps beautifully in his kennel without making a peep — as long as he knows his people are close by. If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate, and playful pup who will fill your home with love and laughter, Max is your guy. 💛 Local adoption fee is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 ( includes transport to your area)
