Story
This sweet boy loves affection. He plays gently and follows me around our home. He wants to be outside playing or adventuring more than anything. Sadly I live in an apartment and he has developed anxiety with the elevator and really needs a yard. He has some leash reactivity around other dogs but does fairly well at the dog park and he gets along great with my older dog. If you are a loving, adventurous person or family with a yard who wants a sweet companion please apply to be his forever. ❤️

Story
Niko is an energetic, loving, loyal, and adventurous dog with a playful personality. He always greets us with kisses and tail wags curls up on the couch with us all in the evening. He loves to go on any adventure and rides in the car with enthusiasm. He is a high-energy dog that needs lots of outside time and play time with people or other dogs. His best environment would be a rural location with space to run around. We love him deeply, but he is occasionally reactive with some people, which isn't a problem when it's an adult that is patient while he gets to know him, but is not good for children who are more impulsive. He recently snapped and bit the finger of our child's friend and so we are no longer comfortable having kids over. We hope to find a household without younger kids, that is in a more rural environment where he could be outside for some of the day. He can be left alone in the house for stretches, but he loves his people so much, he needs people who are mostly around.

Story
Baby...Babishka!!! Babishka came into the rescue while she was still in the womb of her mama, Mama-ishka! A good samaritan reached out to us to help Mama. She was a regular stray in the neighborhood especially after her owners up and left her behind. They moved and didn't bother to take her with them. Babishka is the runt of the litter. She is adorable, sweet, and loves to give kisses. She is at times quiet within the five puppies in her litter. She will sit back and watch everything around her. She is a smart girl! Babishka has taken to learning her puppy lessons from her mama very well. Mama-ishka has taught the kids that you don't pee/poo in your bed area nor near your food. Babishka is being kennel trained. She falls asleep by 10pm and wakes up bright and happy at 7:30am. She is also being potty trained. She will wake up and quickly make her way to the backyard door. She will even wake up from her naps and cry out to let us know she has to pee. She is a FAST learner! But, considering her very young age she will need continued training to help her be the best pup that she can be. She's at the perfect age to introduce into any home! This little girl is also a HUGE LOVE BUG!!! She does love to be petted, held, cuddled, etc. She will happily look at you with her big brown eyes and give you a big wet kiss! Her gaze will melt your heart!!! Babishka is ready to learn, love, and live with her family. Are you ready to have a fun and happy pup as a member of your family? All of Babishka's vetting has been done by my personal dogs' vet. The following is a list of what has been done for her... Spayed All 4 - DA2PP shots (Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2 (Hepatitis), Parvo, and Parainfluenza) Bordatella shot Rabies shot Dewormed Tested, Treated (if needed), and retested for giardia and coccidia Iverhart heartworm preventative Simparica fleas and ticks preventative Chipped There are two categories of vaccines: “core” vaccines that are recommended for all pets, and “non-core vaccines” which may be recommended by your vet based on lifestyle and exposure risk. The core vaccine for dogs is the Rabies vaccine, which is required by law. The second core vaccine for dogs is often referred to as the DA2PP or DHPP vaccine. This stands for “Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2 (Hepatitis), Parvo, and Parainfluenza”, meaning that this vaccine protects against FOUR different diseases. It is especially important for puppies to begin a series of DA2PP vaccines at six to eight weeks of age, as natural immunity obtained from the mother decreases and puppies become very susceptible to potentially life-threatening diseases such as Canine Parvovirus (Parvo). Parvo is transmitted through feces and can remain in the environment for at least one month, and up to a year if the conditions are right. This means that puppies do not need to be directly exposed to another dog that has Parvo in order to contract the disease, and caution is advised when choosing where and how to socialize and exercise your pup. We recommend avoiding exposure to unknown dogs or public places until your puppy has finished their vaccine series. BUT, all A.M.O.R. puppies (1 year old and less) have all FOUR shots. They are safe to join you and your family on your outdoor adventures and you can rest at ease. Non-core vaccines for dogs include Bordetella, Influenza, Leptospirosis and Lyme. The Bordetella (aka: Kennel Cough) help to prevent highly-contagious respiratory diseases, and are essential for dogs that may be exposed to other dogs, especially in group settings such as dog parks, daycare, or boarding facilities. All A.M.O.R. dogs and puppies are given a Bordatella vaccine. Bordatella boosters are given every 6 months. https://www.thedrakecenter.com/services/dogs/parasites/deworming-dogs The above link is to provide you information regarding why deworming is so important for all dogs of all ages (and for their families). All A.M.O.R.s are dewormed upon entering the rescue and then again 5 days before their health certificate visit (when they have been adopted and ready to travel). This dewormer is issued per our vet. And all pets are tested, treated (if needed), and retested for coccidia and giardia. A.M.O.R. provides you with this information so that you can be aware of the work and love that is given to each pet. Each puppy has visited the vet AT LEAST 5 times during their stay with us. They have seen the vet 4 times for their shots and will see the vet 1-2 more times prior to transport in order to obtain a health certificate for travel. Adult dogs have seen the vet AT LEAST 3 times. Two visits for their shots and 1-2 visits prior to transport in order to obtain a health certificate. Are you ready to have a lifetime of fun with Babishka??? All animals receive a health certificate (stating that a licensed veterinarian saw the pet and deemed it healthy for travel, but is not a promise of perfect health). Please email for an A.M.O.R. application in order to be considered. Please note: this pet is located out of state.

HISTORY: Yukon was rescued as a stray in eastern Washington in February 2022. He was dirty, skinny and had several lacerations. He was obvious that he had been living on the streets and fending for himself for a while. Vets believe that he was born in Early 2018. UPDATE: Yukon is a now a big beautiful boy with a luxurious coat and ready for his forever home! Yukon is looking for an active family who will include him in all their activities. He would like a home with a yard and a 6' high fence that he can't jump over. Bonus if he finds a home with Husky/northern breed experience, and someone who loves to run like he does! He would also be good a playmate. Yukon would do best with older gentle kids as he would be too much for toddlers. He needs a home WITHOUT cats, chickens or small critters ADOPTION INFO Dog adoption fees include: - All Basic Dog Vaccinations - Rabies - Bordetella - Flea & Tick Treatment - Spay (Up to $400) - Neuter (Up to $300) - Microchip & Registration All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs and cats in our rescue. Story
HISTORY: Winchester was an owner surrender in Eastern Washington when he came into rescue May 24, 2023. He is a wonderful and friendly dog except he doesn't like to be in a cage. He is needing a FOSTER FAST! UPDATE: Winchester was very high energy when first coming out of his kennel and leaving Petsmart, but as soon as we were outside and had walked for a few minutes, he became STELLAR on a leash; I was shocked at how good he was! He liked to sniff around but ultimately seemed unbothered by car noise and other outside sounds, although he is interested in trying to meet other people and dogs (we did not do either on our walk so I can’t speak to how he would be if he was allowed to say hi). He seems pretty confident and is very sweet, definitely more of a chill demeaner once he gets some exercise out. He jumped up a few times when I first got him from the kennel but I think with training that would be something easy to work on. PLEASE SEE THE LINKS BELOW IS YOU COULD BECOME A FOSTER OR ADOPTER! FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Isn’t this boy ABSOLUTELY STUNNING?! Diego has waited quite a while for a foster or forever home! He is a 2-3-year-old Siberian Husky weighing about 55 pounds. He is a very happy and friendly boy who spends his days playing with other dogs in the play yard! Diego is your typical silly and active husky, needing a family that can keep him properly exercised. He is so loving, sweet, and intelligent! He has already learned some basic obedience from his time at the rescue. Diego enjoys time with his people and would make a great adventure buddy! He is good with other dogs but prefers females most of the time. Diego is also an awesome playmate! His preferred forever home would have another female dog around his size so they could tucker each other out. He could, however, be an only dog with continued doggie socialization and play dates. He is not tested with cats. Diego is on the waitlist to be neutered and will be neutered before adoption. He is UTD on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500.

These pups are in Seattle, Washington too!

Meet Bolt! He came to us from California and brought the chill vibes with him. This goofball loves to spend time chasing toys, playing with his friends or just cuddle up in your lap. He has truly mastered the art of balancing playful energy with a laid-back demeanor, making home the perfect addition to any home. He truly is as sweet as can be. Because of his breed, Bolt is expected to be on the larger side, so he is hoping for a forever home with a spacious yard to explore and call his own. Bolt is microchipped, up to date on vaccines and scheduled for neuter the first week of May. (He won’t be available to go home until after that appointment)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Interested in adopting? See our adoption process. KANGA  thrives on adventure and would love an active adopter who will take him on adventures and give him plenty of play time! Kanga is a loyal guy and will be a great companion for someone. He LOVES the snow in the winter and to swim in the summer.  His number one favorite activity (even more than walks and treats) is going for car rides! He likes feeling the wind in his face through an open window (car surfing). Kanga is incredibly observant and curious. Kanga’s comfort with people has grown significantly while in rescue. He does need a little time to build trust, but eventually he will follow you around and give you kisses! He is also quite affectionate and loyal to those he bonds with. Kanga has excellent house manners and is happy to chill on his bed or lay beside you as you work. He has basic training and knows: sit, down, come, get it, stay, and release and is ready for the next level of training. He is very treat motivated and responds well to a clicker. Kanga just needs to know you can be counted on to pay attention to his physical cues when he’s feeling overwhelmed. Kanga would do best in a home setting with a secure yard and would prefer to be your only pet. He might do well with savvy teens as long as they are aware of Kanga’s “dog language” and can give him space when he needs it.  Are you the active, patient, forever home that Kanga is seeking?
