Story
I rescued Leo from a Denver shelter when he was 8 weeks old, and he’s been the best companion. He’s 13 now and needs someone with a more flexible schedule, as he requires more frequent bathroom breaks than my 8+ hour shifts allow. Leo is about 80 lbs — stocky, sweet, and goofy. He knows sit, stay, shake, lay down, and come. He loves toys, plays independently, and has a funny quirk of wanting his meals “remixed” before he’ll eat. He’s lived around many dogs but isn’t comfortable with big dogs; small dogs he mostly ignores. He has a brother he’s been with since 8 weeks old, but they’ve been separated for boarding during travel with no issues. He’d do best as the only dog in a calm home. This is a hard decision, and I just want him to have the care and attention he deserves in his senior years.

Story
If we were to describe Sundrop in one word, it would be lovely. She is as playful as Golden Retrievers can be. She is family and kid-friendly, truly such a good dog. But despite all these traits, no one wanted to adopt Sundrop at the high-kill shelter, so she was placed on the euthanasia list. When we saw her, we fell in love and knew that someone out there would also fall in love with her. If you're ready to be swooned and play games of fetch with Sundrop, apply to be her forever family below! Ideally, a quiet home would be best for her and she’s low to medium energy. Very affectionate once she warms up to you! Fearful of strangers but is getting much better.

Story
*We will not be at Pet Supplies Plus on December 20. Instead, join us for our annual Deck the Paws holiday adoption event! From 11 AM–1 PM, you can find us at Maxline Brewing (2724 McClelland Dr #190, Fort Collins, CO 80525). See you there!* Meet Lexie! Lexie is beautiful and smart and a little unsure of the world around her. She will thrive in a loving, gentle, and patient home. Once she has relaxed in a new space she loves to be pet and loves to nap next to you. Lexie is not confident on a leash, but has been working hard to build her confidence and adjust to walking on a leash. She does enjoy chasing the neighborhood rabbits and squirrels. She is doing well with kennel training. Lexie is also working on potty training and has been doing well using puppy pads when she’s not comfortable outside. Lexie is very food motivated and has started to show her playful side by happily squeaking and chewing on soft toys. She does well with other dogs and has shown zero interest in the resident cat. While Lexie may take a little more patience and love, we have no doubt that she can thrive and be the most loyal and loving dog. Lexie is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Lexie is also tested with other dogs, cats, children, and kennel trained. She is still working on perfecting her potty training in foster care. She is getting close! We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Thank you for choosing adoption! With a passionate team we are a foster-based animal rescue, partnering with the community to provide shelter and resources prioritizing the animals’ well-being. As a nonprofit, we put these fees right back into vet care, food, transport, and all the support to help the next animal. You're not just adopting, you're saving a life and fueling another rescue journey! *Our Mission* At All Aboard Animal Rescue, our mission is to address the global pet overpopulation crisis through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming. We are dedicated to making a difference by providing essential resources and compassionate care to enhance the quality of life for animals. As their voice, we advocate for their well-being by raising awareness about the shelter crisis, promoting responsible pet guardianship, and ensuring the compassionate treatment of all animals. *Our Vision* We envision a world where every animal is understood with empathy, treated with kindness and respect, and where the unique bond between humans and animals is cherished — enriching all lives. *Spay & Neuter is required by law in Colorado, helping to break the cycle of unwanted litters.* Please consider supporting our mission. Together, we are making a difference!
