Story
Meet Gunner, a vibrant 2.5-year-old boy who has been a cherished part of our family since he was 7 weeks old. With his heart of gold, he is a gentle companion, and while we want to disclose a past bite incident, we're happy to share the details with interested adopters. We're looking for an energetic couple or individual who can provide an active lifestyle that complements Gunner's enthusiasm. He has a passion for water activities, playing with his ball, and snuggling up for cuddles. This lovable boy also has a unique fondness for popcorn and broccoli snacks. Witnessing his joy as he pops bubbles is a true delight. Gunner is a one-of-a-kind companion who brings boundless joy and excitement to those around him. To ensure a seamless transition, we're including his kennel, dog bowls, and a bag of food, as he is fully kennel, leash, and potty trained.

If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children, and we do not know how they will react. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location. Hi! My name is Max, and I am a gorgeous Golden Retriever who was born 6/10/21, and I weigh 80 pounds. I love to play so I must have a large, secure yard and siblings would be fine with me.  If you have been waiting for a gorgeous Golden, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Story
This dog is a courtesy listing and not one of our dogs. Please contact the email listed in this post.   Meet Colin – Your New Best Friend! This little bundle of joy is Colin, a lovable pup who’s come a long way and is ready to start a fresh chapter with a family of his own. Colin’s journey began in a high-kill shelter in Houston, where he found himself on the euthanasia list after a simple doggy cold. Luckily, fate stepped in just in time! Thanks to his amazing foster family, who saw his story on social media, Colin was rescued and is now ready to bring joy to his forever home. About Colin: Colin is the definition of a cuddle bug! This sweet and affectionate pup thrives on human connection and loves nothing more than being close to his people. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch or giving you all the hugs and paw pats, Colin will always make sure you know just how much he loves you. This playful little guy is also a toy enthusiast. From racing around the yard with a squeaky toy to showing off his latest prize, Colin is all about fun and games. He’s currently being fostered with a senior dog, and the two are the best of friends! They’ve been seen dipping their paws in the pool and playing around in the backyard, proving that Colin’s energy and spirit are contagious. He would love to have a furry sibling to share his playful nature with or even enjoy plenty of playdates with other dogs. Colin is an absolute sweetheart with everyone he meets—people, kids, and even other animals. He’s a gentle soul with no mean bone in his body. While he may still be a bit timid around new experiences (like car rides), Colin is growing more confident every day with the support of his foster family. What Colin Needs: Colin would thrive in a home where he gets plenty of attention, love, and time to continue his puppy training. He’s a smart boy, and with a committed family, he’ll become the best version of himself. His ideal family will be patient and understanding as he builds confidence, helping him learn to enjoy new experiences and adventures. Colin is a mystery mix (though the shelter listed him as a Golden Retriever mix), and as of March 10, he’s about 7 months old and weighs 32 lbs. We expect him to grow into a medium-sized dog, full of energy, love, and personality. Are you ready to meet this lovable, wiggly little cuddle monster? Colin is looking for his forever family, and it could be you! If you think Colin is your next adventure buddy, apply today! Click here to apply today to adopt this precious pup! Colin is currently being fostered in Houston, TX, but he’s available for adoption in multiple locations. Transport is included in the adoption fee!April 1, 2025, 11:19 pm

Story
Finn - is a handsome boy, who doesn't have a lot of reference for humans. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body, but he is just not sure about the people taking care of him. He loves his dog friends and hasn't met a single one he doesn't like... and they are teaching him that trusting the 2-leggers is OK. Finn is looking for a long term relationship with that special person who has the patience he needs, and is willing to slowly gain his confidence. If you have another dog that could help show him the ropes, that would be great, but not necessary. ##2234670##

My name is Belle, and I am a gorgeous Golden Retriever who was born 10/17/21, and I weigh 86 pounds. I have had lots of treats and could stand some exercise to regain my trim physique.
