Chance was found as a stray. A kind lady took him in and contacted us for help. He's a really handsome little guy and we'll make a great family edition. The family that took him in had children, and he loved them very much.    ##2701520##

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.3/29/26 Here we have Balki. He has so many great qualities about him and loves everyone but for whatever reason, nobody has adopted him. His foster mom did a DNA test on him and despite his looks, he is 30% Golden Retriever! 22% American Staffordshire Terrier, 18% Staffordshire Bull Terrier, 18% American Pit Bull Terrier, and 11% Mini Bull Terrier. Don't let the 'Bully breeds' in him stop you. He is a GREAT dog!! All about him: Balki is a super sweet and loving boy who is good with everyone-cats, dogs, and kids. He is fully house trained and crate trained. He has long legs and a slim build. He loves other dogs and does well with cats. Great with kids! He is about 8-9 months old. We believe he may have been dumped before he ended up in rescue because he is scared of cars. When walking on leash, if he is near a car or truck, he gets visibly scared and will try to pull away. Once he is inside the car he does fine. He just has some emotional scars that are still healing. But he's getting better all the time, thanks to a foster helping him feel safe. He will likely be a big boy once grown. We believe he will be around 60 lbs once grown. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.   Balki is located in Arkansas. He can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays.   To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Story
Maggie was homeless for a long time. A kind gentleman tried for months to safely capture her. She became pregnant and had her puppies in the woods, and that’s when she was finally able to be brought to safety. Adjusting to life inside a home has been a big change for Maggie. In the beginning she was very shut down, and it has taken a few months for her to start trusting her person. She loves other dogs, gets adorably excited at mealtime, and while new people can be a little scary for her, she always remains gentle and sweet—even when she’s unsure. Maggie will need a very patient, understanding family who is willing to continue working with her and help her grow into a more confident dog. She would do best in a quiet home, ideally with fewer people and not a lot of activity, where she can feel safe and continue building her confidence. With time and love, she truly blossoms. 🚨 IMPORTANT ADOPTION NOTICE: Maggie can only be adopted within Arkansas. If you are out of state and interested in adopting her, you must be willing to travel to Arkansas to pick her up. No transport is available. 🚨 Maggie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and currently undergoing heartworm treatment. If you’d like to make Maggie part of your family, please complete our adoption application. 🐾

Story
Available for adoption! Good morning, Hal, here. I want to share with you my experience which has prepared me for a loving family and I hope if you are reading this you will feel compelled to consider adopting me! I heard my owner say it would be kinder to surrender me to the shelter. My question was kinder to whom! Luckily for me (and my fursister with the same condition) I heard that Ming's assistant was going to bring us north and work with us to help us recover what ever control might be possible. She took us to a specialist who said we suffered from neurological issues but that there was no conventional treatment. But that was not the end of our quest for help as we got remedies from the Homeopath and Ming's assistant would hold us close to comfort us and make it possible for us to eat the chicken & rice meals she prepared. The road to recovery was long but the unending support of Ming & his assistant continued. I am happy to report that our issues are nearly resolved. So if you have room in your heart & home for an awesome, precious boy please send an email to the Rescue (WOW.Rescue@yahoo.com) for information & an application. The unconditional love I will give you will be a great blessing! PS. Ming says I would be fine to be adopted by myself as he has taught me to be independent and Ming is always right.
