Maggie is a smart, outgoing girl with a calm and confident personality. She’s not aggressive at all and walks gently on a leash. Sometimes she may pause when she sees something new, but with a little time, she relaxes and keeps going. She loves her walks and does well with other dogs. Maggie is fully potty and house trained and prefers going out twice a day—morning and late afternoon. She’s very low maintenance and enjoys spending most of her time relaxing and napping. Maggie may be a mild flight risk and can be a little wiggly when it’s time to put on her leash, but once she knows it’s walk time, she’s happy to cooperate (and enjoys a little extra love too!). She’s looking for a patient, understanding home that will help her continue to grow into the best girl she can be. Buster is a gorgeous Golden Retriever mix who is a young adult (about 2 years old). He lives with dogs of all sizes and gets along with everyone but he is dominant over food so I feed him separately. He also lives with cats and kittens and has never tried to chase them and doesn't really pay attention to them. He is low-to-medium energy in general but has the stamina to go on long hikes, etc. He is not a barker and not a jumper and not a bolter. He likes to be petted. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found.
