This means positive rewards training, fine tuning house training, exercise and tons of fun and laughs in between. Because Cooper loves everyone he meets and gets very excited, he might forget all about the polite way to greet people and be a bit on the jumpy side. Teens that are comfortable with bouncy young dogs and will participate in his training, will be considered. He can potentially join a home with a resident dog that is comfortable with his rough and tumble play style and who can be a good role model. No cats in the home at this time, please. Cooper is ready to become a wonderful companion for many years, he just needs to find his forever family. If you think he might be the one for you, please drop by the shelter during open hours to talk to staff. Tuesday- Sunday 12-3p

Raised from a puppy by his current family, Jasper has been deeply loved, but as life has grown busier and noisier around him, he’s shown us that what he truly craves is peace, calm, and a more serene environment. Jasper is a wonderful boy who loves the simple joys of life—long walks on leash, fun play sessions at the dog park, and spending time with his people. He’s great with other dogs, both at home and out in social settings, and would likely thrive with a friendly canine companion to share his days with.   What Jasper needs most is a quieter household, ideally an adult home or one with older teens, where he can relax without constant sudden noises or stress. Inside, he’s housetrained, well-mannered, and happiest in a calm space where he can simply enjoy being with his humans. Outside, he’s active, playful, and always ready for a little adventure. Hello there, I'm Lucy, the most curious canine you'll ever meet. My curiosity got me here, actually. I was once in a grocery store, just sniffing around. I saw a sausage stand and thought, 'Aha, free lunch!' But, the sausages were tied to a string. I pulled one, and the whole stand came crashing down! Amidst the chaos, a kind soul brought me to this shelter. I've learned my lesson, I promise. No more sausage heists for me. I'm all about belly rubs and fetch now. So, how about it? Meet Penelope! Penelope is approximately 7 months old, 38 lbs currently and she is a Mutt. She was found as a stray at a boat ramp that is a known dumping ground. She is working hard on her house-training, crate training, and hasn`t had any leash walking experience yet. She could go to a home with kids 5+, cats, and other young dogs.No apartments, please! She is initially shy and would benefit from a home with a fenced yard and another young dog.Her foster says, `She loves loves LOVES toys. She has a toy in her mouth 95% of the time. She loves frozen or fresh blueberries, carrots, and Greek yogurt. She loves her brother and has more energy. When she does tire down, she is very cuddly and loving. She will sit for treats.`She is available for adoption in Hopkinton, MA by appointment.
