Despite everything she’s been through, she continues to show quiet strength every day.During her time in a foster home, Sharon started off a little fearful, but with patience and consistency, she began to settle in and grow more confident with each passing day. One thing that really helped her come out of her shell? Another dog. Sharon absolutely loves canine companionship and seems to gain confidence from having a dog friend by her side.She’s still recovering and taking things slow, but she’s already showing us that she wants to trust, to feel safe, and to belong.Sharon would do best in a patient, understanding home—ideally with another confident dog to help guide her—where she can continue healing both physically and emotionally.She’s been through a lot, but with the right support, Sharon has such a bright future ahead of her.

Fletcher is a sweet, sweet boy. He came into our lives 2 months ago. He was being re homed because his previous owner could not afford his vaccines and he had allergies (which have cleared up and he has not had any issues!) We discovered through xrays that he has been shot with a BB gun! He doesn't show pain, just sometimes runs with a limp. He jumps on the bed and couch easily. But we do give him an inexpensive pain med every day. While Fletcher is a great dog, well trained (even has some service dog training!), he does not get along with my resident dog and there have been a couple incidents.

Today, he`s in a loving medical foster, where he`s receiving treatment for two tick-borne diseases.Through it all, he`s remained exactly who he`s always been: a sweet Retriever mix who just wants to be loved.At nearly 9 years old (DOB 10/23/17), Scotty is the oldest dog in our care. He`s fought through neglect. He`s fighting to heal.Now we`re fighting for something else: the forever home he deserves.Because after everything he`s overcome, we`d love to see Scotty spend his senior years exactly where he belongs: curled up beside someone who loves him as much as he`ll love them.??
