Meet Barlee. He is an American golden retriever and is the more yellow/golden color. He is 8 years old. DOB 9/11/18. He is NEUTERED, he is NOT AKC registered. I just got him all up to date on all of his vaccines. He is so incredibly sweet he wouldn’t hurt a fly. He loves everyone and every other animal. He is great with kids. He loves walks, snuggles, he loves his tennis balls, he’s potty trained and crate trained, he knows sit, lay down, take it and leave it. He is a literal gentle giant and a people pleaser. Weighs 59lbs. We just want the most loving and best home for him. We will not settle for anything less than what he deserves and a better life than what he already has now. He will come with his kennel, bowls,collar/ leash, toys, bed, food, food bin, vet records, and some clothes.

Charley is an easygoing, thoughtful girl who has settled beautifully into her foster home. After nearly a decade in one home, she’s taken this big life transition in stride; within minutes of walking into her current foster home, she was relaxing, following the household routine, and coexisting peacefully with resident dogs and cats. She enjoys being near her people, joining in on “pack” walks, and soaking up the simple comforts of home life. Charley is a friendly dog who seeks out connection, but she prefers a respectful, consent-based approach to touch. She’s shown that she’s most comfortable with gentle, predictable interactions and does best when her boundaries, especially around her neck and while eating, are honored. In her foster home, she’s been calm and easy to live with, including during mealtimes when given appropriate space. Kanga is looking for a squirrel-hunting fur-ever partner! Kanga is a gentle giant who wants nothing more than to cuddle up and go on long walks looking for squirrels. His favorite pastime is rolling in the grass and trying to befriend every passerby, furry or not. When no one is around, Kanga enjoys hanging out with his cat BFF or chills out in his crate with his favorite blankets and toys. Kanga first came to APA in 2021 to receive care after having been shot in the spine. He needed to have one of his hind legs amputated, but he quickly adapted to life on 3 legs. The injuries to his spine left him incontinent, but all that means is he requires a few extra potty breaks a day, and he wears fashionable diapers when he's inside the house. He isn't aware of his differences, and they certainly don't get him down! He can climb stairs, jump out of the car, and will snuggle on the couch with you when you're feeling down.
