Story
Sharon’s story isn’t the easiest—but it’s far from over.At just 1 year old and 20 pounds, this Retriever mix has already shown how resilient she is. After being hit by a car, Sharon is now on the road to recovery and will need an FHO surgery to help her back leg heal properly. Despite everything she’s been through, she continues to show quiet strength every day.During her time in a foster home, Sharon started off a little fearful, but with patience and consistency, she began to settle in and grow more confident with each passing day. One thing that really helped her come out of her shell? Another dog. Sharon absolutely loves canine companionship and seems to gain confidence from having a dog friend by her side. She’s still recovering and taking things slow, but she’s already showing us that she wants to trust, to feel safe, and to belong.Sharon would do best in a patient, understanding home—ideally with another confident dog to help guide her—where she can continue healing both physically and emotionally. She’s been through a lot, but with the right support, Sharon has such a bright future ahead of her.

Story
Meet Willa — a big, beautiful 1-year-old Retriever mix with a heart full of love!Willa is a people-loving girl who truly shines when she’s by your side. She’s affectionate, loyal, and happiest soaking up attention from her humans. While she has so much love to give, Willa is still building confidence in the world around her. New environments can feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to leash walking, so she’ll need a patient adopter who can help her feel safe and supported.Willa would likely do best in a calm home where she can take things at her own pace. With time, encouragement, and consistency, she has all the potential to blossom into a confident, devoted companion.

Story
Meet Belle Belle is a beautiful Golden Retriever who has come a long way since I adopted her at just 6 months old. When she first arrived, she was terrified of people, noises, and new situations. Everything in the world felt scary to her. Over the past year, she has made tremendous progress. While Belle is still a high-anxiety dog, she has shown that she is capable of building strong bonds and learning to trust. A trainer who evaluated her through Golden Retriever Rescue noted that Belle is anxious but absolutely capable of connecting with people. In fact, Belle bonded with the trainer in less than 20 minutes. Belle's biggest challenge is living in a busy household with teenage boys. The noise, activity, and unpredictability make her nervous, and she often retreats to my bedroom for comfort. When I am not home, she rarely leaves her safe space because she feels overwhelmed. What Belle needs most is a calm, patient home with adults who understand shy and sensitive dogs.

Story
We have had some large changes and have the need to find a great family home for our two dogs. Both pups are family friendly and have many years of experience with a toddler and baby.Meet Luna, an English Retriever turning 5 in December. She is the definition of a family dog, loves to be around us, really enjoys pets, and of course her treats. She is sweet, caring and loves to be by your side. She is very gentle and patient with babies and toddlers and only knows love. She is leash and basic commands trained. She loves to go on walks and play with her brother, Olaf!Luna has a brother, Olaf, she grew up with and would like to be adopted by a loving and caring family that will take her and her brother: https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/48419278-austin-texas-great-pyrenees-labrador-retriever-mix

Story
Hi! My name is Cali 🐾 I’m a 1.5-year-old Border Collie and Golden Retriever mix. I’m a happy, playful girl with lots of love to give. I have plenty of energy and love to run, play, and explore, but I can also relax and be calm when it's time to wind down. I love playing with toys especially anything I can chase, fetch, or carry around. I enjoy spending time with my family, whether we're playing outside, going for walks, or just hanging out together. I’m also great at entertaining myself and can play independently when needed. I love kids and enjoy being around them. I’m gentle, friendly, and love the extra attention and playtime they bring. I’m also very smart, curious, and eager to learn (that Border Collie side of me!). I’m affectionate and love belly rubs and cuddles. I’m fully potty-trained and doing really well with my manners. Overall, I’m a sweet, energetic, and loving dog who would make a wonderful companion for an active and caring family. 🐶💛
