Story
Meet Opal! She's a sweet Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix who will be 2 years old soon. Opal is amazing with kids, cats, and other dogs. She loves playing with our children, running the hallways, and being part of the action. She has lots of energy and would thrive in a home with space to run and a family who will include her in daily life. After playtime, she's a total cuddle bug and loves affection. She's house broken, kennel trained, and enjoys riding in the Teryx for adventures. She bonds deeply with her people and just wants to be loved, included, and part of a family she can grow with. This has been a hard decision, but with our busy schedule we can't give her the time, consistency, and exercise she deserves long term. Adoption fee is $200 to ensure serious, responsible placement. She is not yet spayed or current on vaccines, and her new family will need to continue her vet care, keep her on track, and provide a stable, loving home.

Story
Meet Lucy! I’m a 5½-year-old Golden Retriever mix weighing about 85 pounds. I’m a gentle, affectionate girl who loves everyone I meet — dogs, cats, and kids included! I’m well-behaved, house-trained, and enjoy my walks where I can show off how nicely I stay by your side. I still have a playful side and love toys, but I’m also perfectly happy being a cozy couch companion. I’m calm, curious, and always ready for attention or snuggles.

Story
We received a call from a local shelter asking if we had room for three puppies. They were the result of an accidental litter and the owner stated their dog became pregnant during a trip to the dog park. The puppies were surrendered to the shelter just before closing on Friday evening. Luckily (pun intended), one of our puppy fosters had an opening and agreed to take two of them, and another foster stepped up to take the third. We picked them up first thing Saturday morning. Please help us welcome the St. Patty’s Day Crew, Lucky, Clover, and Pattie, to Rescue Row! They are 12 weeks old and currently weigh between 25–30 lbs. Mom is reportedly a Golden Retriever mix, and dad is an unknown mixed breed. We have sent Lucky’s DNA test off and expect results back in a few weeks. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org  *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2673236##

Story
🐾 Meet Millie – The Sweetest Girl Looking for Love! 🐾 Millie is a chameleon. She can look soft and squishy, or she can look calm and aloof. The one thing that is constant is what a special, loving girl she is. She looks at her foster parents with love in her eyes all the time, that when her face softens and a sereness comes over her. She is a delight, she is gentle and sweet but you can tell this one loves deeply when she feels safe. Millie is 48 lbs, loves to play especially in water. She is intrigued by animals on TV and will focus in every time that is playing. She loves everyone she meets—kids, big dogs, little dogs—you name it! I just have so much love to give and can’t wait to find a family who will love me back. So why am I looking for a new home? Well, my owner’s boyfriend’s dog didn’t like me and wasn’t very nice to me. My owner made the tough decision to let me go because she knew it was for the best. And you know what? That means I now have the chance to find a family who will love me as much as I love them! I’m about 49 pounds, petite but full of personality! This sweet girl is much smaller than she looks, crate trained, potty-trained and good with other pups and children. Millie has lived with a child in a wheelchair and does just fine! Millie is about a year old and finds herself in an unexpected position. And its better for Millie to be in a home she can thrive in. She is medium sized, house and crate trained and while she still pulls on her leash, walking manners are improving quickly. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Story
Meet Dot (Dottie) 🎀 Dot’s story began when her mother was rescued, and just a short time later, on Christmas Day 2024, Dot and her siblings were born safely in our care. Now 11 months old and about 50 lbs, this beautiful retriever mix has grown up in rescue — and it’s time for her to find a forever family of her own. Dot is as smart as she is sweet. She knows sit, stay, and shake, and she’s potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, and eager to please. She’s wonderful with other dogs and children, making her an excellent family companion. Her favorite game is tug, and she’s always up for playtime before settling down for snuggles. Playful, loving, and incredibly loyal, Dot has spent her whole young life waiting. Now she’s ready to grow up in the comfort of a forever home. 💕 📩 Apply to adopt Dot: www.dallasdog.org/adopt A good Samaritan took Dot's mom, a stray, in and as soon as she knew she was safe she quickly delivered 10 little puppies. Story
Are you my forever companion? I'm Charlie, a sweet and loving pup looking for my perfect match. I'm a bit particular and enjoy my routine, so someone who understands and can accommodate that would be ideal. I can be shy at first, so a patient and kind partner is a must. No other furry friends or little ones at home, please! A cozy yard for playtime would be wonderful, but l'm not a fan of long walks or car rides. Let's cuddle up at home together! Charlie wants you to know even with his black fur and scars from puppy strangles, he is handsome, sweet, loving, smart and has all the same love and personality as the fluffy one over there! Charlie loves meeting new people; not around kiddos much. He is practicing his manners and learning his commands. He is fully potty trained and uses a doggy door. He knows the command sit and we are working on more. He loves taking walks and exploring the outdoors. He loves his ball and playing in the sprinkler. Charlie is king of the backyard sunshine! He loves to play but is a very chill, loving boy. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption.
