Story
Meet Lucy! I’m a 8 year-old Golden Retriever mix weighing about 75 pounds. I’m a gentle, affectionate girl who loves everyone I meet, dogs, and kids included! I’m well-behaved, house-trained, and enjoy my walks where I can show off how nicely I stay by your side. I still have a playful side and love toys, but I’m also perfectly happy being a cozy couch companion. I’m calm, curious, and always ready for attention or snuggles.

Story
With a very heavy heart, I am looking for a loving new home for my sweet dog, Skye. Skye is a beautiful, affectionate, and gentle dog who deserves a home where she can receive the time, attention, and love she needs. She has brought so much joy into our lives, and this decision has not been easy. My priority is making sure she goes to the right person or family who will truly care for her and give her a happy, stable life. Skye is loving, playful, and enjoys being around people. She does best with someone who can spend time with her, give her regular walks, and make her feel safe and loved. She is used to being part of a home and would make a wonderful companion for the right person. I am not looking to rush this process. I want to make sure Skye goes to a responsible and caring home.

Story
🐾 Meet Millie – The Sweetest Girl Looking for Love! 🐾 Millie is a chameleon. She can look soft and squishy, or she can look calm and aloof. The one thing that is constant is what a special, loving girl she is. She looks at her foster parents with love in her eyes all the time, that when her face softens and a sereness comes over her. She is a delight, she is gentle and sweet but you can tell this one loves deeply when she feels safe. Millie is 48 lbs, loves to play especially in water. She is intrigued by animals on TV and will focus in every time that is playing. She loves everyone she meets—kids, big dogs, little dogs—you name it! I just have so much love to give and can’t wait to find a family who will love me back. So why am I looking for a new home? Well, my owner’s boyfriend’s dog didn’t like me and wasn’t very nice to me. My owner made the tough decision to let me go because she knew it was for the best. And you know what? That means I now have the chance to find a family who will love me as much as I love them! I’m about 49 pounds, petite but full of personality! This sweet girl is much smaller than she looks, crate trained, potty-trained and good with other pups and children. Millie has lived with a child in a wheelchair and does just fine! Millie is about a year old and finds herself in an unexpected position. And its better for Millie to be in a home she can thrive in. She is medium sized, house and crate trained and while she still pulls on her leash, walking manners are improving quickly. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Story
Meet Dot (Dottie) 🎀 Dot’s story began when her mother was rescued, and just a short time later, on Christmas Day 2024, Dot and her siblings were born safely in our care. Now 11 months old and about 50 lbs, this beautiful retriever mix has grown up in rescue — and it’s time for her to find a forever family of her own. Dot is as smart as she is sweet. She knows sit, stay, and shake, and she’s potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, and eager to please. She’s wonderful with other dogs and children, making her an excellent family companion. Her favorite game is tug, and she’s always up for playtime before settling down for snuggles. Playful, loving, and incredibly loyal, Dot has spent her whole young life waiting. Now she’s ready to grow up in the comfort of a forever home. 💕 📩 Apply to adopt Dot: www.dallasdog.org/adopt A good Samaritan took Dot's mom, a stray, in and as soon as she knew she was safe she quickly delivered 10 little puppies. Story
Are you my forever companion? I'm Charlie, a sweet and loving pup looking for my perfect match. I'm a bit particular and enjoy my routine, so someone who understands and can accommodate that would be ideal. I can be shy at first, so a patient and kind partner is a must. No other furry friends or little ones at home, please! A cozy yard for playtime would be wonderful, but l'm not a fan of long walks or car rides. Let's cuddle up at home together! Charlie wants you to know even with his black fur and scars from puppy strangles, he is handsome, sweet, loving, smart and has all the same love and personality as the fluffy one over there! Charlie loves meeting new people; not around kiddos much. He is practicing his manners and learning his commands. He is fully potty trained and uses a doggy door. He knows the command sit and we are working on more. He loves taking walks and exploring the outdoors. He loves his ball and playing in the sprinkler. Charlie is king of the backyard sunshine! He loves to play but is a very chill, loving boy. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Story
This handsome 6-year-old Retriever mix has the kind of charm that will melt your heart. With his tan coat and the cutest ears that stand straight up, Nemo is as striking as he is sweet.Nemo has a gentle and loving personality. He adores spending time outside—especially going for walks, which are his absolute favorite thing! He would love a home where he can enjoy long walks to stretch his legs and explore the world by your side. When he’s not out adventuring, he’s soaking up the sunshine or staying close to his people—because hugs and companionship are what he lives for. And if you really want to win him over, bring some chicken jerky treats (though he’s still learning to be a little gentler when taking them!).Nemo will need a home with a fenced-in yard, as apartment living isn’t the right fit for him. He also prefers to be selective with other dogs, so a meet and greet is required—or he may be happiest as the only pet where he can soak up all the love and attention. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will be your best friend through it all, Nemo is ready to fill that role and shower you with love.
