Story
Benson (5 in July) is from a golden doodle breeder in Fort Collins, CO. We got him when he was 8 weeks old. All owners after bringing our puppies home quickly recognized that this litter was full of anxiety. We have spent a lot of money on training, which did help some. He is very loving and likes to snuggle. But, his anxiety, fear of random things, and his need to bark at every squirrel or person that goes by is causing stress for our family and the neighborhood. We believe that Benson would live his best life on a larger property where he can run as much as possible and bark and chase squirrels to his heart’s content. He loves to chew on his bones and does release anxiety that way. He will chew through even the toughest of toys very quickly. He really is a sweetheart, he just needs more room to roam.

Story
Taz has been loved since the very beginning. I got him when he was just 6 weeks old a chubby little boy who loved food so much he would fall asleep with his head in his bowl. Born on a farm he has grown into a strong playful and incredibly loving dog who is now a little over 2 years old. Taz is the definition of a loyal companion. He is the kind of dog who will be by your side through everything loving you protecting you and bringing joy into your everyday life. He has a playful spirit and a goofy personality and yes he still thinks he is a baby sometimes. He is great with kids and gets along well with other animals making him a wonderful addition to a family. With his beautiful coat and sweet nature he truly turns heads but it is his heart that makes him unforgettable. Taz thrives in an active home. He needs space to run play and just be free whether that is a big yard open land or an owner who loves being outdoors. He would do best with someone who can match his energy.

Story
PJ has so much love to give. He is a sweet cuddlebug and loves playing fetch, taking naps in the sun, and snacks. He is also a very fearful, anxious guy. He stresses every second I am not home and this arrangement is not good for him or me. This behavior manifests as constant barking and marking inside the house. He is too nervous of strange dogs and people for doggy daycare or dog parks. He needs a home with folks who know more about reactivity in dogs and can dedicate time to working with him. He has Nodular Granulomatous Episcleritis, which just means he will need ongoing checkups with an ophthalmologist but it is well managed with daily eye drops. He is 4 years old and 70 lbs, he has a tighter curly coat and does not shed but that does mean he needs regular grooming. He has lived with cats his whole life, he also gets along well with other dogs in the home. I do not know how he is with kids. He is a velcro dog, where you go, so does he. He knows basic obedience.

Story
Our newest foster girl is Sweetie Bear, a 9 mo old, ~40 lb, poodle mix who came all the way from OK to find her furever. She's still learning that people are safe but coming out of her shell. She will need time, patience, and a quiet home! A confident and playful (medium energy) dog sibling would be ideal to have in the family. She doesn’t walk on a leash yet as that is scary for her so she’ll need a fenced in yard. She enjoys going in and out our screened door to explore the yard and seems to understand that outside is the place to potty!! She loves treats, mealtime, playing with her toys, chewing on bones and naps. She sleeps in her crate at night. She likes other dogs and is friendly with the resident cats. She’s a timid girl who will present as very shy upon first meeting and will require time and patience but once she comes out of her shell, she will be doing zoomies like she does here and her adorable personality will shine!! She’s being fostered in Lakewood!
