Mindy is affectionate and friendly, with a playful spirit that will keep you on your toes. She is a true athlete, always ready to run, jump, and play, but she also knows how to relax and be gentle when needed. Mindy is good with other dogs, so she would be a paw-some playmate for your pup. She is the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal and loving friend. Mindy is spayed, fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. Story
Rowdy is a sweet mixed breed pup that's ready to find his forevers. He loves people, gets along great with other dogs, and will be a pleasure to train as he grows up. He is going to be a perfect buddy for your walks and will happily snuggle with you on the couch. If he seems like a good fit for your household, we'd love to hear from you. This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Meet Goose! Hello future family! My name is Goose, and I’m a 1.5-year-old doodle—adorable, if I do say so myself. Around here, my friends call me “Smiley” because I just can’t stop being happy. Seriously, it’s kind of my thing. I love playing catch, going on walks, and soaking up all the scratches I can get. When I’m really excited, I do this little prance that’s guaranteed to make you laugh. Life is just too fun not to celebrate it! I’m great at meeting new people and get along well with other dogs, too. Whether you’re looking for a playful buddy or a sweet companion to brighten your days, I’m your guy. If you have any questions about me, my assistant (they call them an adoption counselor) would be happy to tell you just how cute and wonderful I am, though I think you can already tell. You can email her at lisa.b@poainc.org. If you think you're ready to take me home (and who wouldn't be), you can also submit an adoption application. I can’t wait to meet you and start our next adventure together. 💛 — Goose ❣️

Story
Hello everyone! Meet Traeger and Bentley, a bonded pair of handsome Goldendoodle “brothers” who cope better together. Treager is a 5-year-old, F1BB black Goldendoodle, born 3/22/21, weighing 59 pounds. Bentley is a 1.5-year-old black Goldendoodle, born 9/24/24, weighing 73 pounds. These boys were living in San Antonio, both adopted as puppies, but when the owner's hectic life got in the way, she decided the dogs deserved more attention and surrendered them to 4 Little Paws Rescue. Both Traeger and Bentley are a dog owner's dream. Friendly with everyone, medium energy, playful, affectionate, and obedient. They are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, healthy, happy, and make a wonderful twosome! Traeger has a playful personality, but does not play with dog toys. He loves walks and running outside. He has a medium energy level, a very mild temperament, and is happy-go-lucky. He loves to snuggle his humans and be close to you, yet not overly needy. He rarely barks, is fully housebroken, well-behaved, and easy to care for… loveable and self-sufficient. Bentley is a happy medium-energy dog who is easygoing and loves to play. He loves going for walks, playing fetch, playing with dog toys, and just hanging out. Bentley loves to cuddle and follow his humans. He is very loving, obedient, and self-sufficient. He rarely barks, is very well-behaved, and fully housebroken. Their foster parents report that, after fostering many dogs over the years, Traeger and Bentley have been the easiest and most delightful dogs they have ever cared for. Inquire about them today! Adoption Fee for the pair: $2000 Another YouTube video of Bentley: https://youtube.com/shorts/XkoO29L76Eo * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
