Story

Seeking foster/foster to adopt- please read entire post.  Scooter is a 16 week old Goldendoodle that received a spinal injury at 5 weeks old. Unfortunately that left this poor sweet boy paralyzed in his back end. Scooter gets around well by shuffling and he is a wonderful candidate for a wheel chair. Scooter currently wears diapers but he has full control of his bladder and bowels, so he does have the ability to be house broken with some patience. Scooter is otherwise a happy, normal puppy that loves to play. He’s good with other dogs but they should not be overly rambunctious. For obvious reasons a home that has no/minimal stairs is required for Scooter. Scooter has gotten scans that have determined that there is not much that can be done for him, however we would like to get a second opinion with our trusted vets once he is settled in his foster/foster to adopt home.  Foster homes must be located in CT, there is no exception to this and have a willingness to drive him to his vet appointments.  If you are interested in just fostering Scooter, please visit our website and fill out our foster application. If you are interested in foster to adopt, please fill out our adoption application.  We would love to help Scooter but cannot do so without a committed place for him.  Astdogrescue.com ##1823104##
