I would like to introduce you to Chili, a breathtakingly beautiful 1 1/2 year-old Goldendoodle who is currently looking for her forever home. Our groomer has her on her schedule to come in for a SPA day to be pampered!! Chili is a happy, loving, and incredibly Sweet girl with a non-shedding red coat that is as soft as cotton. She is truly a "wish list" puppy with a glowing personality; she adores everyone from children to seniors and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Whether she is chasing a tennis ball, playing with her rescue friends, or simply wiggling with excitement when she sees you, Chili is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Beyond her adorable appearance and sparkling eyes, Chili is very smart and eager to learn. She is highly social and would fit right in with any family activity, whether it’s a car ride to school or a quiet afternoon at home. She is a loyal, fun, and smart companion who is ready to become a beloved member of a new family. If you are looking for a "total puppy" who will fill your days with laughter and affection, Chili is the perfect match. Chili is current on all vaccinations, spay, has been dewormed, she is on Heartguard for heartworm prevention, and Frontline Plus for flea and tick prevention . Her adoption fee is $875. Welcome Goose to CCPAL Rescue. Goose is a 6-year old Golden Retriever/Poodle –Goldendoodle. This boy is gorgeous. He weighs about 70-75 pounds and is a good weight. He is not a shedding dog and will need grooming to keep his coat in good shape. He is good with teens and in a group of dogs, he gets picked on. He is not dominant and hasn’t had a ton of training. He is a smartie and would love a home where he can be the center of attention and get training and attention daily. He has been around teens and we think as far as children go they should be 8 or older. He is a little timid but very sweet. He is energetic and smart. He would like someone that isn’t a couch potato to join him and play with him on the daily. He is getting neutered on Monday and has been getting his vaccinations. He will be ready for adoption in about 1 week. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 600 and transport is 200. He will get a lot of applications. Please be patient. We are a small group and we will be working hard to find this beauty his best forever home. Kobe is a very beautiful and handsome 2-year-old and 64-lb Doodle — but please read his description carefully, as he is a dog that needs consistent training with clear boundaries. Kobe was surrendered by a family with young children and his energy was too much for their growing family. When he first arrived at Pet Rescue, he was full of pent-up energy which resulted in excessive barking, jumping, and mouthiness. One of our volunteers took him under her wing and discovered that the best approach is to calm him first. Speaking to him in a soft, calm voice, petting him with soothing strokes, and rewarding calm behavior has made all the difference. When he is relaxed, he can go for a walk. High-value treats, reassurance, and calm pets help redirect him when passing people and other dogs. Once he trusts you, he is affectionate, calm, and much easier to handle. He walks nicely beside you, does not pull, and shows little reactivity. When he is overstimulated, he becomes jumpy and mouthy. Kobe will need regular exercise where he can run off his energy and then he enjoys quiet affection. He is intelligent, eager to please, and most of all, wants to be part of a family. Kobe is looking for a calm home (without young children) with a consistent daily routine that provides him with structure, boundaries, and exercise.
