Tatum is about 12 weeks old and ready for a home to call his very own! He loves to play with other pups and loves to meet nice new humans. He'll be the perfect addtition to any loving home. This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Welcome Goose to CCPAL Rescue. Goose is a 6-year old Golden Retriever/Poodle –Goldendoodle. This boy is gorgeous. He weighs about 70-75 pounds and is a good weight. He is not a shedding dog and will need grooming to keep his coat in good shape. He is good with teens and in a group of dogs, he gets picked on. He is not dominant and hasn’t had a ton of training. He is a smartie and would love a home where he can be the center of attention and get training and attention daily. He has been around teens and we think as far as children go they should be 8 or older. He is a little timid but very sweet. He is energetic and smart. He would like someone that isn’t a couch potato to join him and play with him on the daily. He is getting neutered on Monday and has been getting his vaccinations. He will be ready for adoption in about 1 week. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 600 and transport is 200. He will get a lot of applications. Please be patient. We are a small group and we will be working hard to find this beauty his best forever home. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Oh my heck are we obsessed with this little girl! Everyone that meets Winn Dixie instantly falls in love with her. She really does check off all of the boxes and she is absolutely adorable. When you meet Winn Dixie you are immediately hit with those gorgeous eyes of hers. The kind of eyes that stop you in your tracks. Who are we kidding though, it’s not just her eyes that will be stopping people in their tracks. Just look at her!! She is more than her gorgeous eyes, perfect goldie locks, and sweet personality. She is dog friendly, cat friendly, kid approved, and the list goes on! Watch her video and fall in love with this happy girl: https://youtu.be/a3VH2ixJv9w?si=gZx-Qw6-ADBEPzEk Winn Dixie is believed to be a Golden Doodle/Husky mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 40 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. We do know that Winn Dixie is as sweet as they come and to add to her greatness, she is essentially a full grown puppy with that adorable puppy face of hers. This little lady loves to love and once she does, it’s game over! Next thing you know, you have a bestie to explore with, a snuggly princess to binge watch your favorite show with, and the sole reason why your camera roll will always be full. Though, Winn Dixie can be a little shy at first with new people and in new environments. It does not take long for her to open up, within minutes she’s giving you all the kisses. She has been around kids ages 3, 6, and 10 years old and Winn Dixie has been nothing but sweet perfection around the kids in her foster home. They have the best time playing together, snuggling, and she loves being a part of a family dynamic. Winn Dixie is very tolerant with all of the kids in the home and just loves them to pieces. She has no issues when the kids are playing with her toys, running around, and is frequently found giving them the gentlest kisses. It's the sweetest thing! If you have kids and are looking for a bestie for your kiddos, Winn Dixie is definitely your girl. She is very dog friendly and has even done beautifully with pups as small as 12 pounds. She approaches new dog friendships thoughtfully, and like many sensitive girls, she just needs a little time to feel comfortable before diving into play. Once she’s settled in, her playful personality comes out in the best way. Winn Dixie enjoys a good game of chase and running side by side with her doggy friends. She isn’t overly into rough, physical contact play and doesn’t seek out constant wrestling. Instead, she prefers interactive movement, space to zoom, and playful back-and-forth energy. She’s also incredibly respectful of dogs who aren’t interested in playing. If another pup isn’t in the mood, Winn Dixie reads that quickly and is perfectly content to coexist peacefully. She doesn’t pressure or pester. Winn Dixie would do best in a home with a dog who will give her time to warm up and isn’t looking for a nonstop 24/7 playmate. A moderately playful, easygoing companion who also enjoys relaxing moments together would be her perfect match. She loves connection, but she also appreciates balance. A friend to run with and then unwind beside. Winn Dixie is also incredibly cat friendly too and did great meeting our house cat Biggie and is currently fostered in a home with a cat as well! Winn Dixie has a perfectly balanced energy making her a great companion to take with you on leisurely walks throughout the neighborhood and then snuggle with you on the couch after. She walks well on a leash and hardly ever pulls. Winn Dixie is treat motivated and she already knows how to sit. She is also crate trained and potty trained as well. She really is a perfect fluffy princess. Winn Dixie would also thrive in a home with a backyard rather than an apartment. She loves to spend time outside and is looking forward to being your future garden buddy! We are willing to test Winn Dixie with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Meet Percy – Your New Adventure Buddy! 🐾 Percy is a 4-year-old Goldendoodle with a heart full of love and energy to match! This playful, affectionate pup is ready to find his forever home where he can thrive as the fun-loving companion he was born to be. Percy is great with other dogs and would love a canine buddy to romp around with. He’s an active boy who enjoys walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. Whether it’s a game of fetch in the yard or a hike on the trails, Percy is always up for an adventure. Because of his enthusiasm and energy, Percy would do best in a home with older kids (12+) who can keep up with his playful spirit. He's not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is a must. This sweet, curly-coated guy is looking for a family who will give him the love, structure, and activity he needs to be his best self. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic, and endlessly lovable best friend, Percy might just be your perfect match! Ready to meet Percy? Fill out an adoption application on our website forrescue.net today and come see if he’s the one for you! He is being fostered in Huntsville, AL.
