Story
Rowdy is a sweet mixed breed pup that's ready to find his forevers. He loves people, gets along great with other dogs, and will be a pleasure to train as he grows up. He is going to be a perfect buddy for your walks and will happily snuggle with you on the couch. If he seems like a good fit for your household, we'd love to hear from you. This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Meet O'Riley, a gorgeous 3-year-old Goldendoodle who is truly the perfect companion. He is a sweet, loving, and beyond gorgeous fellow with a beautiful coat of high-gloss black waves. Within minutes of meeting him, you are sure to fall in love with his gentle spirit and those huge, kind eyes. O'Riley is a "snuggle bug" who thrives on affection and is always ready to repay your attention with warm kisses. He has a gentle disposition and is a complete joy to be around. He is also "Mr. Social," as he adores the company of other dogs of all sizes and is even fine with cats. Whether it’s a trip to the dog park, running errands in the car, or playing with his favorite toys, O'Riley just wants to be part of the action. True to his breed, O'Riley is incredibly smart, alert, and eager to please, which makes training a breeze. At the end of the day, he is perfectly content to curl up as close to his family as possible. O'Riley’s only wish is to belong to a family who will treasure and love him. He would be a wonderful companion for a single individual or a couple, and he would especially love having another dog to play with. He is a deeply trusting and devoted pup who is ready to give 100% of his heart to his new forever home. If you are looking for a loyal, "show-stopper" of a companion, O'Riley is the one for you. He is currently with his foster family in Kentucky and will arrive in the New England area via pet transport once he is adopted. His adoption fee is $875. He is Neutered, current on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and up to date on heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. If you would like to learn more and are interested in adopting the first step is to complete an adoption application. Story
Welcome Goose to CCPAL Rescue. Goose is a 6-year old Golden Retriever/Poodle –Goldendoodle. This boy is gorgeous. He weighs about 70-75 pounds and is a good weight. He is not a shedding dog and will need grooming to keep his coat in good shape. He is good with teens and in a group of dogs, he gets picked on. He is not dominant and hasn’t had a ton of training. He is a smartie and would love a home where he can be the center of attention and get training and attention daily. He has been around teens and we think as far as children go they should be 8 or older. He is a little timid but very sweet. He is energetic and smart. He would like someone that isn’t a couch potato to join him and play with him on the daily. He is getting neutered on Monday and has been getting his vaccinations. He will be ready for adoption in about 1 week. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 600 and transport is 200. He will get a lot of applications. Please be patient. We are a small group and we will be working hard to find this beauty his best forever home. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
