He has a friendly nature without needing to be the center of attention all the time. When it comes to other dogs, Hatch does a great job reading their cues and respecting their boundaries. He enjoys playing chase and sharing toys, and after a few minutes of fun, he’s usually ready to stretch out in the grass and relax with his buddies. Bigger dogs can make him a little unsure at first, but he adjusts quickly once he realizes everything is okay. A medium-energy canine companion could be a great match for him. Hatch is also an enjoyable walking buddy. He heels nicely, responds well to guidance, and generally needs very little correction. Sometimes his excitement gets the best of him when he spots another dog and he wants to hurry over to say hello, but he redirects easily. With a medium-to-low energy level, Hatch doesn’t need nonstop activity to have a good day. He’d enjoy going for walks, joining his family on outings, playing in the yard, and then finding a comfortable spot to unwind. Kennel time is still something Hatch is working on. He will go inside, but he tends to express himself with plenty of barking while confined. Outside of the kennel, he settles much more easily and is generally quiet. Because of this, a house with a yard would suit him better than apartment living while his family continues helping him find a routine that works for him. Welcome Goose to CCPAL Rescue. Goose is a 6-year old Golden Retriever/Poodle –Goldendoodle. This boy is gorgeous. He weighs about 70-75 pounds and is a good weight. He is not a shedding dog and will need grooming to keep his coat in good shape. He is good with teens and in a group of dogs, he gets picked on. He is not dominant and hasn’t had a ton of training. He is a smartie and would love a home where he can be the center of attention and get training and attention daily. He has been around teens and we think as far as children go they should be 8 or older. He is a little timid but very sweet. He is energetic and smart. He would like someone that isn’t a couch potato to join him and play with him on the daily. He is getting neutered on Monday and has been getting his vaccinations. He will be ready for adoption in about 1 week. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Parker is a 12 wk old, adorable little mixed breed puppy and we think he is so cute that we can hardly stand it! He is well socialized, friendly, loves to play with his dog friends, LOVES people, and is just generally a very good time. His hobbies are napping, eating, finding mischief, and stealing kisses! He's currently waiting for his forever home. If you're interested in adding this little guy to your household, we'd love to hear from you. This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
