He's living in a foster home and doing great there. He's good with the their children and their other dogs. We are told he's a smart dog, not surprising, with his breeding. Also a loving boy, a loyal companion. He's also fine with car rides. A good traveler. Bo's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. All dogs are age appropriately vetted: Spayed/neutered (3+ months old) Fully vaccinated: Rabies, DAPPv, Lepto, Lyme, Bordatella (6-12 weeks+) Microchipped Dewormed and received preventatives for fleas/ticks/giardia/coccidia/worms Visit Sunshine's Facebook photo album: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1299267389048910&type=3 NO SMALL CHILDREN or SMALL DOGS/ANIMALS POODLE-TYPE EXPERIENCED NEEDED Meet Sunshine Born: July 2025 Breed: Shepadoodle (Shepherd x Poodle) Gender: Female Weight: 40 lbs Sunshine's story is heartbreaking but her spirit is incredible. She came from a severe backyard breeding situation where many dogs were too terrified or reactive to even be approached. Sunshine was one of the few who allowed herself to be helped and that alone says so much about her heart. Despite everything she's endured including having puppies in that environment who didn't survive Sunshine remains gentle, curious, and full of quiet hope. She truly wants to trust. There isn't a mean bone in her body. She does well with other animals and would benefit from a patient, understanding home that will let her continue to come out of her shell at her own pace. Every small step forward with Sunshine is meaningful, and watching her learn what love and safety feel like is incredibly rewarding. Sunshine didn't get the life she deserved at the start but her future can be different. She's ready for a home that will show her kindness, stability, and the love she's been waiting for. Story
We received Cosette as a puppy from a Goldendoodle breeder in February 2023. She’s lived with her older sister, Eponine, who is also a Goldendoodle, throughout that time. She’s also in a family with six kids, so she’s great with kids. Unfortunately, our household is unable to support her along with our kids and other pets. Also, our landlord has a limit on pets. She’s very loving and would be a great companion.

Story
Goldendoodle Male Tan and White 3 Years old 54 lbs Meet Trooper: This handsome pup is a total package of polite love and excellent manners. He is wonderfully well-behaved in the home, no counter surfing, no begging, and no barking when visitors arrive. He eats well without any signs of food guarding and is both house-trained and crate-trained, sleeping soundly through the night. He loves to relax near his people and is a loyal companion who feels most at ease when they’re home. Outdoors, he enjoys romping, exploring, and even playing fetch, happily returning the ball, but due to his curiosity and agility, he will need a securely fenced yard with a tall fence. While he walks nicely on a leash when no other dogs are around, he would benefit from continued training to improve his focus when passing other dogs. Overall, he’s a sweet, well-mannered dog who will thrive in a loving home that can provide both companionship and continued guidance. Please Note: **No children under 10!** If you are interested in adopting TROOPER, please visit our website at www.somersetcottagepoodlerescue.org to learn about our adoption process and download the adoption application, or click ADOPT ME! below. TROOPER's adoption donation is $1100
