Story
Sawyer is a 5-year-old neutered Goldendoodle (Feb. 29, 2020). He’s a big, goofy, loving boy who adores toys, snuggling, & water (even paddleboarding). Despite his energy, he’s a lap dog & very sweet. FENCE REQUIRED Sawyer loves the outdoors but will wander if not contained. He has great recall, but curiosity takes over. On leash, he’s strong and hard to manage due to his size and energy. We believe a secure fenced yard is essential so he can safely run & play. This has been the biggest challenge in finding him the right home. Notes Pulls leash Food/toy guarding with other dogs (manageable) Jumps with excitement Rough with small animals Will counter-surf Crate trained, smart, affectionate, eager to please Rehoming? We inherited an old dog who doesn’t get along with him. With young kids, it’s become too chaotic. This is a PUREBREED from superstar puppies… he is 3 years old … he is loving playful and chill all at the same time…. He love gospel music and eats Cesar dry and wet food mix and loves doggie bacon… he will not eat any other dog food because this is literally his favorite… he loves rubber toys … He has never been mated … but he still have a long life in front of him … I literally only have one month to get him to a responsible loving home … I am relocating from the area and can’t take him with me other wise I keep him … If you want him and can afford to take him in and love him like I will understand I will want a mutual understanding of keeping in contact so I know he is save and alive and well and being loved … If you do not wish to keep in contact with me consistently after getting Loui you can not have him… he is more than a animal or dog he is family… I only price him this low because I care more about the character and morals of his future owner not the money… My # (xxx) xxx-xxxx

Ace-Poodle/Irish Setter male, ~ 15 mo.(Dec. 2025) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application Ace was taken in by a Trainer, looking to help dogs into a Service Dog program through Prisons. Ace fit the criteria and was in danger in the high kill shelter he was left at by a prior owner. He has the typical energy and ability of his genetics. Also said to be very quick to learn/intelligent. Ace has a great personality and lives with his Inmate Trainer and many other dogs in the program, doing great with everyone. He has Obedience/Husbandry skills/ Grooming skills & rides well in a car. He is crate and house trained. Ace is about 75lbs (Large size dog). He has not lived with cats, no opportunity in the Prison, but will be tested when he comes into foster care. Children over 15 yr. Are recommended, if children are in the home. Ace's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application.

Cal-Poodle male, ~ 1-2 yr. (Dec. 2025) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Cal came to Rescue when his prior owner called for help. They are traveling a lot for work and just felt it was in Cal's best interest to have a home where he wouldn't be alone so much. He's a beauty, with a friendly disposition and a lot of love to give. Cal is about 65-70# and is probably fully grown. Poodles can be very good family dogs due to their intelligence, affectionate nature, and loyalty. Cal is used to living in a family setting with adults. Poodles are highly trainable and generally get along well with children and other pets when properly socialized. He has lived with other dogs, with no problems, although will enjoy getting to see more of the world with a new family. He requires a fair amount of mental and physical exercise, consistent grooming, and will thrive when he is included in family life rather than being left alone for long periods. Cal's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
