Story
We received Cosette as a puppy from a Goldendoodle breeder in February 2023. She’s lived with her older sister, Eponine, who is also a Goldendoodle, throughout that time. She’s also in a family with six kids, so she’s great with kids. Unfortunately, our household is unable to support her along with our kids and other pets. Also, our landlord has a limit on pets. She’s very loving and would be a great companion.

Story
Kodac is 6.5 years old, weights roughly 45~ pounds and his microchipped. He is a very hyper dog that loves going outside on walks & playing fetch. He is VERY friendly with other dogs and good with older children (5yr and up). He loves attention and he's very affectionate. He loves going on walks and cannot wait to go outside every time. He would benefit from a home that can give him plenty of exercise or play time. Unfortunately, with our new commute times and small family, we don't have enough time to consistently give him the exercise he needs. He will come with a training collar, multiple beds, feeding system, treats, basket of toys, and leashes. You shouldn't need too much other than food to get started!

Story
Goldendoodle Male Tan and White 3 Years old 54 lbs Meet Trooper: This handsome pup is a total package of polite love and excellent manners. He is wonderfully well-behaved in the home, no counter surfing, no begging, and no barking when visitors arrive. He eats well without any signs of food guarding and is both house-trained and crate-trained, sleeping soundly through the night. He loves to relax near his people and is a loyal companion who feels most at ease when they’re home. Outdoors, he enjoys romping, exploring, and even playing fetch, happily returning the ball, but due to his curiosity and agility, he will need a securely fenced yard with a tall fence. While he walks nicely on a leash when no other dogs are around, he would benefit from continued training to improve his focus when passing other dogs. Overall, he’s a sweet, well-mannered dog who will thrive in a loving home that can provide both companionship and continued guidance. Please Note: **No children under 10!** If you are interested in adopting TROOPER, please visit our website at www.somersetcottagepoodlerescue.org to learn about our adoption process and download the adoption application, or click ADOPT ME! below. TROOPER's adoption donation is $1100

Story
Simba Goldendoodle Male Gold and White 3 Years old 59 lbs Meet Simba: Simba is a sweet, three-year-old male Goldendoodle who loves being close to people. He is housebroken and knows basic commands such as sit, stay, down, leave it, off, and "no." He is currently working on his leash manners and learning to heel. Simba came to us as a surrender from the Howard County Animal Shelter.During his time in foster care, Simba has visited vet offices, wineries, parks, and farmers' markets. He is known for his soft eyes and gentle nature, getting along well with other dogs and enjoying car rides. While he dislikes being crated and occasionally barks at other dogs on walks, he is learning to stay quiet. While other dogs might be active and barking, Simba is often found peacefully napping in the grass. He enjoys playing with balls or squeaky toys and would do well with a compatible canine companion. Simba will thrive in a structured, loving, and patient home. He is eager to please and simply needs a dedicated owner to help him learn the rules. Please Note: **No children under 10!** If you are interested in adopting SIMBA, please visit our website at www.somersetcottagepoodlerescue.org to learn about our adoption process and download the adoption application SIMBA's adoption donation is $1100

Story
This loveball is 1 year & 5 months old and is looking for a new home to bring his light into! He’s a true mini and we believe he should be all finished growing now as he’s about 17 pounds now. No behavior/aggression issues, however due to an increasingly busy work schedule, we’re finding it challenging to give this cutie the time and attention that he truly deserves. He’s loves to play just as much as he loves to cuddle, and needs a generous amount of time/space to let his energy out daily. The perfect home would ideally be a work-from-home family, a multi-person household, or simply anyone who has lots of free time to give to this amazing pup. Not looking for an adoption fee, we just need a genuine pet loving family who is ready to open their arms to our kiddo.

These pups are in Frederick, Maryland too!

Katie-Australian Mountain Doodle F1 female, ~ 4 yr. (June 2026) For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Katie is our beautiful F1 Australian Mountain Doodle, which is a combination of a Bernese Mountain Dog and an Aussiedoodle. The Australian Mountain Doodle is a mix of three breeds: a Bernese Mountain Dog, an Australian Shepherd, and a Standard Poodle. They’re often referred to as Aussie Mountain Doodles, Aussie Bernedoodle, or Swiss Doodles. The Australian Mountain Doodle is an intelligent and easy-to-train dog breed. As all three of the parent breeds are working dogs, an Aussie Mountain Doodle loves training sessions and needs daily mental enrichment. Australian Mountain Doodles are loving and affectionate dogs that thrive in family environments due to their sweet and gentle nature. They’re great with kids and other dogs, but they can develop separation anxiety if not trained and socialized correctly. Australian Mountain Doodles are not only loving and affectionate dogs but are also easygoing, intelligent, and eager to please their owners. They thrive on positive reinforcement training and excel at learning new commands and tricks. They have a remarkable ability to catch onto commands quickly and are fantastic listeners, making them an ideal choice for first-time dog owners. With endless amounts of energy, Aussie Mountain Doodles are perfect for high-energy families who enjoy going on long walks, runs, and hikes. This pooch loves playing fetch, running around, and being active. Katie has been spending the last few years, being a mother in a Breeding operation. Those days are behind her and she's ready for her new family and home. Ariel's adoption fee is $600, to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. Henry-Moyen Poodle, male, ~ 3 yr. (June 2026) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. The Moyen Poodle is a medium-sized variety that sits between Standard and Miniature Poodles, standing 15-20 inches tall and weighing 15-35 pounds. You’ll find this breed’s name comes from the French word for “medium.” They’re known for their intelligent, adaptable nature and hypoallergenic curly coat, making them excellent family companions. These dogs require regular grooming, daily exercise, and consistent training to thrive. They offer a balanced size and temperament . The term “Moyen,” which translates to “medium” in French, reflects the breed’s European heritage and its intended size classification. If you’re considering adding a Moyen to your family, you should know that these dogs combine the intelligence and elegance of traditional Poodles with a more manageable size. When you look at a Moyen Poodle, you’ll notice their distinctive square build and slender, athletic body structure. Their long muzzle and alert eyes contribute to their sophisticated appearance, while their medium-length coat requires regular grooming to maintain its beauty. You’ll appreciate that their dense, curly coat is hypoallergenic, making them an excellent choice if you’re sensitive to pet allergies. The Moyen’s balanced proportions make them versatile companions for various activities. Whether you’re looking for an agility partner or a family pet, their size allows them to adapt easily to different living situations while maintaining the elegant bearing that’s characteristic of the poodle breed. Henry is in a Prison Training Program, learning about Obedience, House and crate training, Grooming...all kinds of good things. He's living with other dogs and know how to be a good 'dog friend'.
