Breed mix? Sheepdog doodle?? Or a MINI Sheepadoodle?? :) Only 45#!! Age? 3 years Weight (or potential size when grown if puppy?): ~45lbs Sex (male or female)? Male Good with cats? Unknown Good with dogs? Yes. Big dogs and little dogs. Male and female. Fun and grumpy :) Good with kids? Yes. Potty trained? Yes Crate trained? Not sure. We have crates all over but we haven't intentionally crated him and he doesn't go in on his own. Temperament? His previous owner said he was a pretty hyper dog but he's been very chill in his foster home. Only issue has been that he likes to bolt for any open door. But he does well around kids, all dogs, chickens and goats (but he's kinda scared of the goat). He LOVES to ride in the car too!! A brief history, where did they come from? He is an owner surrender from an older lady with health issues and couldn't continue to care for him. He was an outside dog from puppy to 3 year old pup surrender. He's only been with his foster for a month or so but has adjusted to inside life just well. He, of course, took some time to adjust and love the outside still but he has picked a chair in the house that's his and he loves to love. Any skills like SIT or DOWN? No, we're still working on not jumping up/putting paws on people first. Milo doesn't give kisses but will put his face right to yours to make you think he's going to kiss and sniffs you all over then backs off. Always leaving you thinking you're going to get kisses but nothing lol... one day SOON we hope to get him kissing!! Favorite toy? Rope toys Favorite rub spot? Side of his belly Favorite song? "But Not Kiss" by Faye Webster...... Yup, he is a music SNOB!!!! Milo wants a loving and happy family to continue to love him "INSIDE" the house. Keep him groomed and make sure he has his OWN chair to lounge on!! Hurry up because he will be adopted quickly!! Local adoption fee is $500 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $800 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Our beautiful girl is named Olive and she is a stunning, regal,  10 year old black Standard Poodle that weighs 48 pounds and is going to be a prize for someone to adopt.  Even though this girl is a senior she doesn’t act it.  She is a calm and very mannerly Princess who loves to be groomed and told she is a pretty girl.   This girl is looking for a new home because of her owner downsizing and moving to a condo community that does not allow dogs.  We have pledged to do our best to get her a home that will be permanent and will never give her up.  She is a perfect in manners and temperament as she looks.  Calm, housebroken, well trained, loyal and crate trained.  Olive isn’t destructive and can be left home alone for a few hours with no problems.  She is used to another Poodle girl in the home and is living with cats.  We want this girl to find someone that appreciate the serenity and of course the loving spirit of the smart Poodle breed that she is.  A perfect size and a perfect little Princess.   Please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested!   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 29, 2024, 8:59 am

Story
Jasmine is a beautiful 7 year old Standard Poodle that weighs 50 pounds and has a sweet spirit about her and lots of love to give to anyone.  She is still a girl that loves to play and to run in the fenced yard.  She lives with an older girl Poodle and it seems that the parents are downsizing and moving to a condo community that does NOT allow dogs.  Sadly, they are looking for Critter Cavalry Rescue’s help to rehome each of them separately.   Jasmine has been well taken care of over the years and she was rehomed earlier in her life as well.  Now she is faced with having a third family in her life.  This girl loves being outside but also enjoys her sleepy time nap during the day.  She loves playing with a ball in catch and release and would be a fun dog to take on trail hikes or walks in the neighborhood or at outdoor events.  She has had some training, knows; sit, stay, down and wait.  She is housebroken and crate trained and just lovely even tempered and laidback girl.  Poodles are smart and Jasmine does not disappoint in that category. If you are interested in this Standard Poodle with a medium build (not the larger kind) then write to ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Mention where you live as we do transport out of state as well as adopt to Tennessee where she currently is.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 29, 2024, 8:59 am

Story
Meet Gus Gus!!!  He is the sweetest dog you will ever meet.  Gus is a 6 year old Standard Poodle who weighs 60 lbs.  Gus is the entire package.  He is house broken, crate trained and he walks well on a leash.  Gus adores people and he is good with other dogs.  If you are going somewhere you have a built in companion as Gus loves to go for a ride.  He is also extremely smart  He knows lots of words and several commands.  The poor boy spent the first 2 years of his life in a crate the majority of the time.  His current mom rescued him from that terrible life in 2020.  Originally Gus had been an only dog.  It did not take him long to adore his pug little brother and he considers him his best friend.  The family recently added a third dog to the pack.  Poor Gus is again unhappy as he does not like being in a multi-dog family.  It has caused Gus to have an upset tummy a lot of the time.  His nerves are just working overtime and the anxiety is causing this.  When out on his own you would never know.  Gus is friendly to everyone he meets.  It only takes a couple of sniffs.  Gus would love a home with a smaller buddy close to his age to pal around with and to keep him company.  If you have a small or medium size dog that is looking for a big buddy then you have found him in Gus.  Gus is neutered, current on all shots, heartworm negative and microchipped.  Experienced poodle people only.  To be considered for Gus' forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  February 29, 2024, 8:59 am

Story
Meet beautiful Raven! This 70 pound four year old labradoodle girl is the perfect blend of her tan standard poodle papa and black lab mama. Raven is happy, affectionate, curious and intelligent; true to her breed mix, she loves nothing more than spending time with her people. That includes doing something fun, going on walks and just chilling out together afterwards (she will adorably lean into you for affection, and if you scratch her back you will be best friends for life!). Raven plays really well with other dogs and is good with kids; she walks well on a lead and knows her basic commands; and she thinks car rides are the bomb! She is housebroken and can be trusted loose in the home (sleeping on the foot of your bed or her own, as the spirit moves her). Raven is quite simply a wonderful companion dog who is looking for a family to give her the time, attention and stability she craves. Apply now if that is you! Raven is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. The adoption fee for this dog is $350 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting this dog,  please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/generi.You can learn about the adoption process by visiting: http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/.Dog's Name:   Jack  (JAC0224DICMD)Estimated Breed:   Standard Poodle MIXApproximate Age:   1 yearApproximate Weight:   50 lbsCurrently Living at:   BoardingAdoption Fee:   $400DOG'S DESCRIPTION:  Jack is a lovable, fluffy boy who, sadly, was surrendered by his elderly owner. He is a nice fella who deserves a forever home with a caring family or as your one and only. He doesn’t understand his situation right now, but shelter life is not for him, and he just wants to be loved and to have someone to love. Jack will require regular brushing. Please be prepared to budget between $125-$150 every 4-6 weeks for professional grooming. Jack arrived severely matted, so he had to be shaved down. Regular grooming will prevent such drastic measures and he can live a handsome and healthy life. Will you be the lucky one to take Jack home?  He will repay you with his unending affection. Fill out an application today and give Jack a chance to prove that he's the best friend you never knew you needed.  Breed experience preferred.  Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.       Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life.
