Story
Meet Madcap Escapade, or Maddie for short, a 5-year old, 63-pound Goldendoodle mix who is as sweet as she is adorable. What a great combo!
Fully housebroken, Maddie knows where and when to do her business…and she also knows what pee pads are for if she can’t go potty outside. She walks reasonably well on a leash, but could use more practice. She gets so excited to greet other dogs, she sometimes pulls a little bit. Like most of us, her ideal walk would take place in a quiet neighborhood without too much distraction, noise, or commotion. It’s pretty clear, this beautiful angel is a lover of peace and serenity as opposed to a bar scene/party-all-night girl. A country bumpkin, if you will. ;-)
Maddie gets along well with other dogs, and when it comes to people, she seems to prefer female humans over male ones. She doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her lean fluffy body; she is simply timid and a bit fearful when it comes to unfamiliar men. Once Maddie knows you, she turns into a giant cuddlebug. She is a huge couch snuggler and she likes hanging around her loved ones, even if it means watching them in the kitchen while cooking or gazing at them while in the shower or bathtub. Oh, and when it comes to mealtime, Maddie is all in. This gal has an excellent appetite, she isn’t picky, and she gobbles treat whenever offered. Anything chicken flavored will always get her attention!
When you walk into the house, Maddie enjoys a proper welcome consisting of head rubs and ear scratches. She has a little helicopter tail that thumps the second she knows you’re home. It’s just the cutest! When it comes to toys, Maddie has her favorites: Her lamb chop, her squirrel, and Kong toy. Oh yeah, Maddie knows what interests her and what doesn’t! Decisive!
This magnificent creature travels calmly, she barely barks, she doesn’t not shed, and she is super mellow in the right environment. Maddie’s ideal home would be one in the suburbs, preferably with a fenced yard, with a family who will love her, honor her, and help her live the life she was always meant to have. If Maddie seems like she’d be a good fit for you, don’t doodle around. Go bring this girl home!
