Story
Chloe is a 7 year old white golden doodle she is loving, energetic and playful. She is great with adults as for children she is not that friendly with them. Chloe likes the snow and going on walks she hates the rain and being dressed up with coats and other clothing. I’m looking for a loving home for Chloe with adults that have time for her she's loving and very protective , overall she is a wonderful dog .

Story
Tate is a happy, energetic boy with a big love for movement and play. He thrives on exercise and is always up for a good game of fetch (seriously… throw the ball and you’ll have his whole heart). 🐕‍🦺🎾 At home with his family, Tate knows how to relax and chill—he’s perfectly content hanging out once his energy is burned off. But when guests come over? That’s party time! He gets very excited and loves being part of the action, making him a fun, social dog who truly enjoys people. One of Tate’s most charming tricks: he’s bell trained and will politely ring a bell when he needs to go outside. Smart and mannerly—what more could you want? Tate would do best with an active family who enjoys walks, playtime, and engaging with their dog. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s playful, intelligent, and full of personality, Tate might just be your perfect match. ❤️

Story
This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! Story
Cookie - 4 years, 45lbs, Doodle Mix, Spayed  This dog is eligible to join our foster-to-adopt program. Please email fostertoadopt@socialteesnyc.org with the animal’s name in the subject line if you are interested! Want to straight up adopt? Submit an adoption application at socialteesnyc.org Our Team Says: "Cookie is an awesome girl. She's come a long way. When she first arrived she hid under a bed for a whole week. But you would have never known if we hadn't told you. She's really become a wonderful dog. One of her foster homes did report that she had seperation anxiety but she is not displaying anything concerning in her current foster home. She does great in a home with a friend (her size or smaller) and if you leave her home alone every single day - starting the day you get her - she gets into a good routine and is perfect home alone for hours at a time. Just drop a treat or a kong for her on your way out and she doesn't worry about you leaving." Her Foster Parent Says: "Shocking to know in 10 years of fostering non-stop this is our first doodle. They usually get snatached up and we lean towards the heavy shedding breeds. But we're not going to lie - we really love petting her soft fur and our vacuum is getting a nice vacation. Cookie ended up with us because she was having bad separation anxiety in her previous home. We're happy to report that she's been a lamb for us. She just needs the right set up: a home with another dog, really strong communication from her people, to be left home alone every single day - starting the day you bring her home and it doesn't hurt to give her a kong right before you leave. Follow this formula and you have an A plus teddy bear in your home. She's so easy to take care of: potty trained, really good on the leash and non destructive. She loves my resident dog - gives her kisses everyday. She's an awesome work from home buddy and a great snuggle bug (but be careful - you don't want to develop an unhealthy attachment style for her). She's got an incredibly sweet and chill demeanor. She also has the best tail bounce/wag while she walks - it brings a smile to our face every walk we take. If you happen to be a doodle fan and have another dog she's a no brainer for you. She's been an utter joy to have with us." Level of dog ownership experience needed:INTERMEDIATE: This dog will need significant structure and plenty of daily exercise, training, and mental stimulation – 90 consecutive minutes of movement in the morning plus potty break walks and brain games throughout the day. The adopter must have relevant primary care experience with a similar breed, temperament, and/or energy level. (Primary care experience includes ownership, fostering, or dog sitting as an adult, not a dog you grew up with.) Energy levelMEDIUM: Needs a daily 60-90 minute walk or window of quick paced exercise (minimum) in addition to potty break strolls (10-30 min each). Also needs significant socializing opportunities outside the home and mental stimulation at home like tricks training practice, chew items, and puzzle toys. (This is regardless of dog size – many small breeds were designed for lots of activity and will exhibit unwanted behavior when they’re understimulated.)  Okay in the city?Yes - not phased by much. Doing great here.  Potty trained?Yes - no accidents  Social with other dogs?Yes she likes dogs her size or smaller  Social with cats? Not sure yet! Some breed mixes that are generally NOT great matches for homes with cats include large hounds, huskies, and shepherds.  Comfortable with children?  (ALWAYS requires adult supervision)Okay in a home with respectful chidlren. She's really gentle and sweet.   MOUTHY BEHAVIORPast this stage– Little to no interest in chewing on stuff or putting things in their mouth that aren’t food. Doesn’t try to chew on hands, feet, etc. during playtimeSEPARATION ANXIETYNo - if you set her up for success :) There's a cheat code :) LEASH MANNERSOld Pro – Doesn’t pull hard or need much direction. CUDDLE BUG LEVELMedium Hight  – Likes to snuggle when she’s in the mood but often stays in her own bed JUMPING ON PEOPLE TO SAY HELLOListens to correction – Only jumps on people they know when really excited, stops with correction.CRATE TRAININGWe don't use one - she doesn't need it  Medical statusHealthy as far as we know. Up to date on their DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines; heartworm tested if coming from the South or Puerto Rico ; spayed/neutered; microchipped; treated with dewormer upon intake How this dog ended up with Social Tees:Most of our dogs come via partner groups who help us save them from shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia in Tennessee, Los Angeles and Puerto Rico. There are very few spay/neuter resources there and many more animals in those areas than there are people to adopt them. Rescue groups like ours bring them to the northeast where the desire for pets like these allows us to save their lives.  PLEASE NOTE: We cannot guarantee any breed mix, exact age, or full grown size (if the dog is under a year old). We do our best with very educated guesses though!  This animal is not at the Social Tees office, all are in foster homes.
