Brooke and Sara are two very bonded girls who are looking for a home together. They MUST be near each other for them to live their lives to the fullest. After being found in two different locations as strays within a few days of each other we felt certain they would know each other, and they did. The reunion was so heartwarming to see the love they have for each other. Sara is the mom to Brooke. Sara is around 5 years old and Brooke was estimated to be almost 2 years old. If you are a Great Dane lover than you know the amount of love these two could give you. Both girls are in foster care together with one of our amazing fosters. House and crate trained, kid friendly, dog friendly, a fenced in yard is preferred since they enjoy running and playing. They continue to learn new skills and manners each day along with building trust again with humans.  If you are interested in two GIANT lovebugs, then Brooke and Sara are for you. Danny Boy was adopted over a year ago, and his family has loved him dearly. But with his strong love to chase squirrels, his walks have become dangerous for his older mama. She’s heartbroken, but he’s simply too strong for her to safely handle. Now this 3-year-old, super sweet, housebroken, crate-trained baby needs our help more than ever. He didn’t do anything wrong — he just needs a home that can manage his strength and energy. We have nowhere for him to go, and we’re desperately looking for a foster or adopter who can give him the safe, loving environment he deserves. Danny Boy is: ~ 3 years old ~ Housebroken ~ Crate trained Sweet, loving, and eager to please Strong and active — needs an owner comfortable with a dog his size and strength Please help us help him. Stella is 3 but in may she will turn 4. She craves human attention. She is just a huge lap dog and is everyones best friend. She loves running around outside but loves even more to be right up under me. She is goofy and playful. She is not a morning dog she loves to sleep in until the sun warms things up. She is a smaller great dane weighing in at 102lbs. She is great with kids and other dogs. She is not great with cats as she isnt very good with leaving personal space. She is not trained very well with walks but will walk she just needs someone who can handle her weight when she pulls.

Ernest came back to the shelter at 12 years old, which is way too old for any pup but definitely for a Great Dane. This guy needs to get out of here and into a home so that he can live out the rest of his life with a loving family. He has recently gone into a short-term foster situation and is doing well with the other dog in the house--we aren't surprised, he did well in his last home too! It has not been too long yet, but he is doing well with the cats too. He has been a little spooked by them, but he steers clear. Ernest is the best boy. He loves meeting people and a good nap.
