Sara and Brooke are two very bonded girls who are looking for a home together. They MUST be near each other for them to live their lives to the fullest. After being found in two different locations as strays within a few days of each other we felt certain they would know each other, and they did. The reunion was so heartwarming to see the love they have for each other. We believe that Sara is the mom to Brooke. Sara is around 5 years old and Brooke was estimated to be about a year old. If you are a Great Dane lover than you know the amount of love these two could give you. Both girls are in foster care together with one of our amazing fosters. House and crate trained, kid friendly, dog friendly, a fenced in yard is required for them and they learning new skills and manners each day along with building trust again with humans. This is Tuxedo a.k.a Tuxe. He is a Great Dane mix. His birthday is July 9th 2023. He would love a home with another dog and someone who has to take him for walks and car rides. He does well with children. He is house trained and listens to commands like sit and stay ect. He needs time to adjust and warm up to new environments. He was boarded at a vet facility for a week and when I went to pick him up he was very stressed and was aggressive some and on guard and never wanted to go back into that vet care again. He didn’t want to take baths and he was afraid of small strings. I assume they abused him during his stay there. He seems to be afraid of adult males and needs to be slowly introduced and it takes a little while for him to trust them . He seems to be more comfortable with an adult female owner. he has stayed with relatives both male and female and he did warm up to them and became comfortable. It just takes some time and slowly getting him use to other people. He is up to date with all vaccines. He is very loving and he is a verbal dog and well let you know if something is wrong and if he wants to go outside or just wants to play. He is very playful. He loves to play with other dogs and go for walks. He loves attention and hugs and kisses. He loves to sleep with you and cuddle. My circumstances won’t allow me to keep him right now. My family and I would love to keep him. If someone is willing to foster him until I can find a house then I will come back and get him. Meet Jack!! He is not quite ready for adoption yet since his has to be neutered and he is a double cryptorchid. Meaning that his testicles never descended. This makes his neuter more complicated (and much more expensive) and we are working on an appointment for him. HOWEVER, he would LOVE a local foster him to care for him until he finds a forever home! He will be at Woofstock today to show himself off, so please fill out an app if you would like to foster him! Jack loves other dogs and he does well with kids. He needs a strong owner and a securely fenced in back yard because he will take off after squirrels, deer, and cats! He loves to chase them so a home without cats or pocket pets or rabbits is a must! He is housebroken and rides well in the car and walks well on a leash as long as he doesn't see anything that he wants to chase. Jack is currently a little overweight and is working in a diet plan.
