My oldest daughter came home with this dog in November 2023. He apparently came from a farm in Adairsville, GA. The owners did not want him. After just a day I knew this dog was sick. We took him to the vet and he was 96 lbs and full of parasites. We have been through 2 rounds of deworming and as of mid February the vet gave him a clean bill of health. He is now 120ish lbs. I had no intentions of keeping him but felt I could at least get him 100% better before trying to find him a proper home. He is really gentle with all people. It does take him longer to trust men I have noticed that but I just have advised men who come in contact with him to ignore him and with in an hour or two is is trying to play. He is really good around children. He is completely housebroken and has not had an accident in my house. I have not crated him because I have not had an issue with him destroying. He will come with a bag of food, Heartworm/flea/tick med. I live in Metro Atlanta.
