Story
‘NEW YEAR’S’ THEMED PUPPY:  Approx. 6 months old / Approx. 38 lbs. & growing Hello – I’m Toast!  My sibling and I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control just before the new year, so we are the New Year’s themed pups!  We are both so happy to be starting 2025 as part of the Mostly Mutts family.  Now it’s time to meet new families of our own, so plan to visit me soon!  I’ve just gone into a foster home, so there should be more information about me soon.  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I haven’t met dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, but I love my sibling and would likely enjoy another dog to play with in my new home if you have a nice dog that would like a puppy friend, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I recently met kids at Mostly Mutts (age 10+) and liked them, so children that age or older in my new home may be nice.  I am a tad jumpy when I play, so best no toddlers or small children that I may bump over and – of course, let’s meet!                     • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a super sweet and friendly pup who has a joyful and curious nature you are sure to love.  I spin and jump for joy when I see the volunteers coming to spend time with me.  I’m playful, affectionate, curious, confident and eager to learn. I am sure to bring lots of love to my new family! / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’ve already mastered the ‘sit’ command and look forward to learning lots more. I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog -  so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having some accidents on the shelter schedule so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I’m super affectionate and love to receive hugs and lots of petting. The play yards at Mostly Mutts are great fun, so I’d love a fenced yard where we can have lots of outside play sessions together.  I enjoy my walks with the volunteers and am gentle and calm for a puppy, so let’s explore together. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on my immunizations, micro-chipped and neutered. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.    January 10, 2025, 7:55 am

Story
‘NEW YEAR’S’ THEMED PUPPY:  Approx. 6 months old / Approx. 41 lbs. & growing Hi, my name is Midnight!  My sibling and I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control just before the new year, so we are the New Year’s themed pups!  We are both so happy to be starting 2025 as part of the Mostly Mutts family.  I’m in a great foster home now while I wait for my new family to adopt me!    • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I love my sibling and the 2 dogs in my foster home, too!  I also listen to their corrections, so if you have a nice dog that would like a playful puppy friend, let’s meet! / I’m curious about the kitty in my foster home, but I pretty much ignore her. / I recently met kids at Mostly Mutts (age 10+) and liked them, so children that age or older in my new home may be nice.  I am a tad jumpy when I play, so best no toddlers or very small children that I may bump over and – of course, let’s meet!                     • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  My fosters say that I’m a sweet, gentle puppy, who absolutely loves to cuddle on the couch with you and follow you around, too. They also report that I’m a gentleman and a pleasure to foster.  If one of their dogs gets corrected, I’ll go to my people for assurance. I eat very quickly, so a slow feeder bowl is recommended. When I was at the shelter, the volunteers described me as a ‘very happy dog’ – sweet and affectionate and ready to love and be loved!  I have a curious nature and am eager to learn about the world around me.  I am a typically friendly and playful pup.  I sat nicely for my shelter bath and freely give and receive affection. / My energy level is 4-6.    • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’ve already mastered the ‘sit’ command and I’m working on ‘leave it’ and ‘down’ in my foster home. I also generally come with you call me, especially if you make a kissy sound. I look forward to learning lots more, as well as polishing my leash skills (I tend to be a bit of a trip hazard right now, as the leash is new to me).  I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog -  so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / I sleep at night in my crate and a spoonful of peanut butter in a Kong is always appreciated. I do still have overnight accidents in my crate at times. / I’m doing pretty well with my potty manners in my foster home, though I do still have some accidents – but I’m improving and do potty outside when taken. Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I enjoy playing fetch and will bring the ball back and let my fosters take it from me easily. They say I have a soft mouth.  I’m always ready for a fun play session, so bring out the toys! I love to explore and use my sniffer to learn about my environment.  At cuddle time, which is my favorite time of all, I’ll happily give and accept hugs and kisses from my people and I love being close to them and touching. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on immunizations, micro-chipped and neutered. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.      January 14, 2025, 9:25 am

Story
lady is a beautiful dog. My kids love her , however, because of her size it is becoming more and more difficult to make sure she gets as comfortable as she deserves. She needs an owner who can devote time for her. All she wants is a belly rub and a snuggle. If you never had a large dog, I highly discouraged you from getting Lady. She need space to stretch her legs and attention as big as she is

Story
Home for the Holidays - Reduced fee is Adopted by January 10th! Meet Bearon! This handsome hunk with beautiful eyes is a  4 -year-old, 65-pound Great Dane and Catahoula mix (we think). He's house- and crate-trained and walks well on a leash. He's looking for his forever family and wants a home where he's your only kiddo (human or furry). Bearon is cautious around strangers and appreciates slow, gentle introductions. Once you’re in his circle of trust, though, he’s a total love bug—affectionate, sweet, and devoted. While he gets along with other dogs, Bearon prefers to be the "star of the show" since he is a little protective of his food and toys. An active boy with plenty of energy, Bearon would love a home with a securely fenced backyard where he can romp and play. After some exercise and fun, he’s all about couch cuddles and sleeping by your side. Complete an adoption application and meet him during our Home for Holidays Special!!   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.           December 12, 2024, 3:27 pm

Story
Home for the Holidays - Reduced Adoption Fees if Adopted by January 10th!  Hello all, I am Scoobie! I am a 8-year-old, beautiful, black, Great Dane and sometimes I even act like I know it! My fommy always calls me hansum, she makes me blush! And if you need to smile, well look no further than me! As you will see, I have a flipped up ear at times! It’s like a comb over ear! It brings a smile to everyone’s face! I’m a big boy at about 120 pounds, and my personality is BIG TOO! So here are the things a hooman needs to know about me.    I would do best being the only pup as I like my things. I don’t share the best with humans or other animals, so I need someone who can keep helping me be the best me like my foster parents do! They are patient with me, work with me, and when I do good things, they give me treats!! So I love doing good things!   I’m very food motivated so I will pretty much do anything you want me to do if you have a treat in your hand! I am also on medication daily that helps me be a better me and will need that medication indefinitely. I am a big couch potato, but I also sleep well in a crate. I am potty trained too! Woohoo!   I am a very strong boy, I don’t mean to be, but I am so I do need someone strong enough to handle my big boy size and strength. My foster mom’s requirements for being my new family are:   Must have Great Dane experience No children  No other pets Patient and willing to continue the training work.  Understands that I will forever be on medication that helps calm me and it works!      If you think you would love to be my new family and would love to give me the home I need to live out my golden years, please let Angels Among Us know!     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.           December 13, 2024, 7:42 am
