Story
Meet Cooper! He’s a 1 year old Great Dane/Pointer mix with the sweetest personality and the cutest goofy side. Cooper is friendly, affectionate, and loves being part of whatever you’re doing. He enjoys toys, chew bones, and hanging out with his people, but he also has a playful side and would love another dog to romp around with or a couple of walks each day to burn off some energy. He walks well on a leash and is doing great with both crate training and house training. Cooper gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids, making him an easy fit for many different kinds of families. He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to find a forever home of his own. 🐾

Story
He was actually my father’s dog that I’ve been helping take care of since he became unable. He passed in January, I had stayed in the area to settle affairs and see if I could find another family member interested in keeping him or a way to take him and keep him myself but I am unable. He is very energetic and can be rambunctious with some separation anxiety but really is a good dog. Loves other dogs. Loves rides in the car. Walks well on an easy walk leash. Loves hikes. Listens well and doesn’t take off off leash. Will need a lot of patience and an experienced dog owner while he adjusts. He’s too big and unaware of his size for really small children but he is friendly with kids. Not sure about cats. Not fixed. Weighs 175 pounds ish. Fully house broken. Not charging a rehoming fee as my only priority is finding someone who will have the patience and ability to give him a good home. Please contact me if interested

LOCAL TN ADOPTION ONLY.Video here: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1ZKqnaG9dD/Mr Scooby His life has been one of text book tragedy in my opinionWe’ve done our best to make his life comfortable in rescue but it is a life inside an intake facility.Five years of teaching him that it isn’t cool the crawl all over a human and try to kiss their face with an open mouth and over sized hugs. His love was so much that it was almost like an aggressive love me situation. Now i have concluded he is and has been reformed. He’s a happy gentleman with that calm Dane state of mind It makes me sad knowing he’s been in rescue for five years He is so loving and so eager to just have a chance at a normal life.If you are looking at a Dane for adoption you already should know how kind and gentle they are.LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY IN TN.The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Yes, dog savvy catsGood with kids: Yes, dog savvy childrenCrate trained: YesHouse trained: YesGeegi is a happy, fun-loving gentle giant with a heart of gold and a tongue that will leave a slobbery trail across your face before you even see it coming. She is a medium energy gal who loves a good romp in the yard or a walk where she can pick up sticks and leaves to carry along, and then she is more than happy to attempt to be a lap dog for the rest of the evening. She is looking for a home ready to embrace every goofy, lovable inch of her.Geegi adores other dogs and was an absolute rockstar fostering ten different puppies, letting them climb all over her, steal her toys, and cuddle up for naps. She does best with dogs who can hold their own, as she does not quite understand her size yet. She briefly encountered a cat and retreated respectfully when the cat set a boundary, so a dog-savvy cat could do well with her. She has been around kids ages seven and nine and done great with them, and would do best with dog-savvy kids who can give her a little extra space given her size and enthusiasm.Geegi is a sweet, social girl who settles into her crate throughout the day and overnight without any issues. She is fully house trained on a consistent daily routine. She is improving her leash manners and would benefit from a strong, confident handler who can help her stay focused when she spots a new friend she wants to say hello to.This giant goober deserves the whole world and will give you every slobbery, clumsy, hilarious bit of herself in return. Could Geegi be the one for you? Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at www.lasthopek9.org. Story
Willow is such a fun, loving & intelligent girl. My family & I adore her but due to my serious health issues, we feel she would thrive with a different family. We can’t give her the time & energy she deserves. She loves everyone & has never shown aggression. She was born deaf but it’s never been an issue. We trained her with hand signals & she does amazing. Her sky blue eyes will hypnotize you! She will play ball with you for hours. We literally have to hide the ball to make her stop. lol. She lives with other dogs and I’m sure she’d be fine with a multi dog house. She has never been around cats so I don’t know how she would react. If you’re interested, reach out & you can meet Willow. She is spayed, microchipped & up to date on all shots. Most importantly, she is the best cuddler!!
