Meet Nyx!
Nyx is a handsome 8-month-old Great Dane mix making his way from Puerto Rico and looking for his forever home!
At 74 pounds and still just a pup, Nyx is definitely a big guy, but don’t let his size fool you — he is incredibly well-mannered! He’s also great with dogs, cats and kids, making him a wonderful fit for all kinds of families.
Nyx is still young and has plenty of growing and learning ahead of him, but he’s already showing what a wonderful dog he is. He’s ready to leave island life behind and start his next chapter with a family of his very own.
If you’re a big-dog lover looking for a sweet, well-mannered young guy who gets along with just about everyone, Nyx may be the one for you!
All of our dogs come with a 7-week group Beginner course at Bark n' Roll in North Reading included with adoption. If you are not local to North Reading you may opt for an included virtual private session with a certified positive trainer with Bark n' Roll.

While volunteers review applications as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the following information about our adoption process:LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents. We rarely know a dog's exact age or full breed mix of dogs, as our information is usually limited.RNR’s ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting one of our adoptable pups is to fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Once we receive your application, one of our volunteers will contact you, review our adoption process, and answer any additional questions you may have. It is important to note that we do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions but on the best fit for a family and, most importantly, the dog.MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until your adoption application is submitted and reviewed.APPLYING ONLINE: When completing an application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device); make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible and that you receive a confirmation email.
