Akira is a 2yrs old and will be turning 3 yrs old in August 2026. She was left with me and I have tried to rehome her before. She is a great dog will be good with kids. She is lovable and will need to sleep with you and will do good in a home that has someone home and can spend time with her. She is house trained but will have occasional accidents if left home for long periods of time.I am moving by the end of the summer and I need to find a great home for her before then she is also great with cats as well. She does have separation anxiety but we have been working on that with her she is better but that may change if she adopted since we are the only family she knows. Akira will need someone who is patient with her Akira is really smart and does some tricks I will post a video of her soon. Please consider her she will make a great addition to your family.

Kane is a big, handsome guy looking for a new home of his own! He loves to go for walks and has made friends with lots of new people. Kane can be a bit worried about going new places so he is looking for a home where he can settle in at his own pace. In his previous adoptive home, he had a difficult time getting settled. He is looking for an adopter who is willing to carefully manage his home environment, especially as he gets comfortable. We believe Kane will be the most successful as the only dog in the home, although, he could live with cats and/or kids.   Roo is a 2–3 year old Blue Merle Great Dane adult who weighs 85 pounds and was found abandoned by a well-known lake in Tennessee.  Someone rescued her from this terrible fate of no food or clean water and no place to be as she was wandering around the lake area very skinny and starved.  She was so grateful when someone took her home.  She then had different people foster her only for a few days at a time until this wonderful family saw her plight and need and said.....let us take her and foster her with a good rescue group.  Now this big girl named Roo has some stability in her life and has earned the nickname “Velcro dog.”  Of course this lost and abandoned girl who was deserted by a lake and then bounced a few times, wants to be right by your side and soak up every ounce of love and attention you’re willing to give her.  She will learn one day that noone is ever going to abandon her again.  This athletic girl has plenty of energy, loves to play with a happy spirit and and is an impressive olympic class jumper. She will thrive best in an active home.  Food definitely motivates her and this makes it super easy to train her and get her undivided attention. Roo is house-trained, crate-trained, cat-friendly, and absolutely loves to snuggle in the bed with her humans.    Roo bonds quickly and becomes very protective of her people so we will have tips on how to temper that zealous enthusiasm to claim you. She needs a family where she can be the queen of the castle and receive endless love and attention in return. Meet Clifford! Although Clifford is not red, he is a BIG dog! At the age of one, he is already 80 pounds and will continue to get bigger. While at the shelter, Clifford loves walks, puzzle toys, stuffed toys, and pets. Clifford would like his family to have experience with XL dog breeds and be made up of teens or older. Clifford has never lived with another dog, but he may enjoy a canine companion to run around with. Clifford is currently up to date on all of his vaccines, neutered, and micro-chipped. All adoptions start with a visit to our shelter and Clifford`s adoption must be approved by our Manager of Canine and Feline Care or Director of Animal Care Services!
