Story
*Name: Nyx*Age: 9 months (born approximately December 2025)*Current Weight: 74 lbs*Rescued from: Puerto Rico*Adoption fee: $650 (includes $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit and $50 refundable positive training commitment deposit) Meet Nyx! Nyx is a handsome 8-month-old Great Dane mix making his way from Puerto Rico and looking for his forever home! At 74 pounds and still just a pup, Nyx is definitely a big guy, but don’t let his size fool you — he is incredibly well-mannered! He’s also great with dogs, cats and kids, making him a wonderful fit for all kinds of families. Nyx is still young and has plenty of growing and learning ahead of him, but he’s already showing what a wonderful dog he is. He’s ready to leave island life behind and start his next chapter with a family of his very own. If you’re a big-dog lover looking for a sweet, well-mannered young guy who gets along with just about everyone, Nyx may be the one for you! All of our dogs come with a 7-week group Beginner course at Bark n' Roll in North Reading included with adoption. If you are not local to North Reading you may opt for an included virtual private session with a certified positive trainer with Bark n' Roll. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Please note that RnR is a volunteer-based organization. While volunteers review applications as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the following information about our adoption process:LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents. We rarely know a dog's exact age or full breed mix of dogs, as our information is usually limited.RNR’s ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting one of our adoptable pups is to fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Once we receive your application, one of our volunteers will contact you, review our adoption process, and answer any additional questions you may have. It is important to note that we do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions but on the best fit for a family and, most importantly, the dog.MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until your adoption application is submitted and reviewed.APPLYING ONLINE: When completing an application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device); make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible and that you receive a confirmation email.       ##2829946##

Story
Meet Buddy! Buddy is a sweet, quirky 3-year-old who has a few thoughts about how life should be organized. He is a pretty mellow guy who enjoys hanging out with his people, getting affection, and generally taking it easy, provided of course that the day proceeds according to plan. Buddy is a creature of routine. He likes knowing what’s coming next, and unexpected changes to his schedule can be a bit... inconvenient, in Buddy’s opinion. He is also a very devoted people-dog who likes to keep his humans close. He doesn`t mind doing things and would probably be quite happy to tag along with you for the day, whether that means running errands, going for an adventure, or possibly even heading to work. He just isn`t a big fan of being left behind. Buddy has lived with dogs, cats, a bird, and people of all ages, and he has spent time at Tide Pool Pet Services working on his skills. He is looking for a home where someone is around often, appreciates a predictable routine, and doesn`t mind having a dog with some very specific ideas about how the household should operate. A securely managed yard will also be important, as Buddy has demonstrated some entrepreneurial tendencies when it comes to finding his own way out. He is not for everyone, but we have a feeling there is someone out there who will find his particular brand of weirdness completely charming. Buddy is part sweetheart, part routine enthusiast, and 100% himself, and we think the right person is going to love him exactly that way. Buddy is part of our Name Your Price adoption promotion, meaning you choose the adoption fee that feels right for you! Adopters will also receive a post-adoption training reimbursement plus six months of heartworm and flea & tick prevention to help their new best friend get off to a great start. Interested in Buddy? Story
Blue, Blue, my world is Blue….. no, not sad, but Blue! Blue wants to be your world, and wants you to beher world. This lovely 7 year old Great Dane mix with a gentle spirit and an easygoing personality was surrendered by her owner through no fault of her own.Blue has the important stuff mastered. She's housebroken, rides like a pro in the car, and knows that life is just better when she is hanging out with her favorite people. She’s also good with other dogs. This girl loves being part of the action, but isn't the type to follow you from room to room every second of the day. She's happy just knowing you are nearby.Blue isn't crate trained, but she does very well in a gated room when left alone. On walks, she is manageable on leash, though she will benefit from some continued training to help her become an even better walking partner. A fenced yard would be a bonus, as she loves exploring at her own pace.Blue is highly food motivated, which makes training enjoyable and helps her learn new routines quickly. She does have a flea allergy, so she will need consistent spot-on flea prevention as part of her regular care.If you're looking for a loyal, calm companion who enjoys life's simple pleasures and will happily be by your side, Blue may be the perfect addition to your family. And there’s an added bonus – you can pet her without having to bend down!Name: BlueBreed: Great Dane mix   (Breed mix is not guaranteed-no DNA testing done).Sex: FemaleAge: 7 years (estimated)Weight: 80.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Unknown. Story
Roo is a 2–3 year old Blue Merle Great Dane adult who weighs 85 pounds and was found abandoned by a well-known lake in Tennessee.  Someone rescued her from this terrible fate of no food or clean water and no place to be as she was wandering around the lake area very skinny and starved.  She was so grateful when someone took her home.  She then had different people foster her only for a few days at a time until this wonderful family saw her plight and need and said.....let us take her and foster her with a good rescue group.  Now this big girl named Roo has some stability in her life and has earned the nickname “Velcro dog.”  Of course this lost and abandoned girl who was deserted by a lake and then bounced a few times, wants to be right by your side and soak up every ounce of love and attention you’re willing to give her.  She will learn one day that noone is ever going to abandon her again.  This athletic girl has plenty of energy, loves to play with a happy spirit and and is an impressive olympic class jumper. She will thrive best in an active home.  Food definitely motivates her and this makes it super easy to train her and get her undivided attention. Roo is house-trained, crate-trained, cat-friendly, and absolutely loves to snuggle in the bed with her humans.    Roo bonds quickly and becomes very protective of her people so we will have tips on how to temper that zealous enthusiasm to claim you. She needs a family where she can be the queen of the castle and receive endless love and attention in return. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will stick by you through everything, Roo is your girl!       Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.  She is currently fostered in Tennessee and can be adopted locally and also can transport to a loving family that is northeast of Tennessee.  We transport almost weekly on the weekends.       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comAugust 29, 2026, 12:15 pm
