He can get a little anxious when away from his people because he bonds deeply and always wants to be part of the action. Yogi also has no idea how big he is, so expect lots of oversized cuddles, leaning on you, and goofy moments 😂 He’s still young, playful, and learning, but he’s incredibly loving and loyal. Approx DOB January 2025. We adopted Smokey 6/13/2026, after she had spent six weeks with her breeders mom, as her original family could no longer handle her. She's very sweet, sometimes goofy, and mostly a couch potato. She does have bursts energy, and needs a good walk or two a day, or a few sessions playing in the backyard. We have a 5 YO Dane female, altered, and a 4 YO Dane male, unaltered; we've had them both since 8 weeks. They got along well for 7 weeks, until Smokey had issue w/our girl - big fight. Now both won't have anything to do with her; we have to keep them separated 24/7, which isn't good for anyone in the house. She bonded with me (mom) instantly. Think part of the aggression toward our girl was resource guarding me, and trying to become the dominant one. She became more comfortable with us over the weeks (good!) - more tail wagging, better appetite; perhaps trying to solidify her position here. She'll make a WONDERFUL only dog.

Ben is a 140-pound gentle giant who will turn 9 in August. He is a loving, affectionate, people-oriented dog who thrives on companionship and being part of a family. I adopted him when he was about one year old, and he has spent nearly seven years with my family, growing up alongside two older large-breed dogs, including a Great Dane to whom he was especially attached. Over the past two years, both of his longtime canine companions passed away due to old age. After the loss of his closest companion, his behavior changed, and he began excessive licking and grooming that resulted in an open wound on his right hind leg. The wound has been difficult to heal because he continues to lick the area when unsupervised. Ben is not being rehomed because of aggression or behavioral problems. He would do best in a home with more companionship, attention and ideally other friendly dogs. He will come with his favorite futon mattress and toys. Ben is due for his annual vaccinations and rabies booster.

We have shared our home with Zoe for 7 years. She is very well behaved and well trained. She aims to please, but needs a firm and loving owner. She is so calm and sweet and wants to be around people. She has some anxiety as most Danes do and takes a little longer to warm up to larger men, but given some time (10 min or less) she is just fine. She loves children! She has trouble making new dog friends sometimes as she is scared of most dogs, however with patience the right person could make it work. She is not a great candidate for doggy daycare or dog parks as she doesn't really enjoy them. She has never had any issues at these places, she just doesn't like them much. She comes with EVERYTHING she needs, including dog beds, food, and her kennel (5' x 4') which makes her feel safe. She is 3ft tall and @ 140 lbs. I hate to give her up, but I am moving out of the country and cannot take her with me. 😢 I'm praying for the perfect family for her.
