Sawyer is a 5 year old neutered male. This BIG (200lb+) boy loves everyone and has never met a human stranger. We are helping his family find a new home as he has become increasingly agitated with the other dogs in his home. He will do best as an only pet. He has a lot of love to give! Story
Handsome Brutus is about 14 weeks old and weighs in at just over 20 pounds. We honestly have no idea what breed mix he might be, but we know he is 100% adorablly sweet! He is the biggest boy of his litter, but possibly also the snuggliest. He'll be a WONDERFUL addition to any loving home. This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
We saved momma from a bad situation in Hartford only to find out a month later she was pregnant. She gave birth to 6 beautiful pups and she did amazing. Jupiter has seen the vet and is fully health certified and has been de wormed. And she isn’t free.. we have spent a lot of time effort and vetting. Please talk to your significant other before applying we have had several people not do this and it only harms her finding her perfect fit. She is loving energetic and looking for her forever. Will you be it ?

Story
Timber is a stunning brindle mastiff/ Great Dane mix who absolutely adores people! He has a goofy personality to him that lights up the room. His foster says he likes everyone he meets and can’t get enough back scratches. He loves to run and play and would enjoy having a fenced in yard or a family that is active. Timber is great with children, he doesn’t know he’s a big boy so older children may be best for him. He thinks he’s a lap dog and will cuddle with as long as you want. Timber does prefer to be the only dog because he loves his people so much. Timber would be an amazing addition to your family and being nothing but love and laughter and sloppy kisses. Timber Is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Please fill out an application at www.northboundrescue.com

Story
Hello world! I’m Cassie, a 9-10 month old Great Dane mix in a 40 lb package! I am a true bundle of love! I’m super sweet and always ready to give kisses, and I’ve been told I’m good in the car. Whether we’re going for a ride or just hanging out at home, I’ll always be by your side, showering you with affection. Life hasn’t always been easy for me—I was abandoned in a house before being rescued. But I’m ready to put the past behind me and focus on all the good things ahead. I’m good with kids and have such a loving nature. The humans at the rescue say I may be deaf, but that doesn’t slow me down! I’m eager to learn new things. What I really need is a forever family who will see how special I am, despite the bumps in my journey. I would thrive in a home where I feel safe and loved. Could that home be yours? Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

READY MARCH 29th! To apply go to https://rnrpets.org/dog-application/ - and make sure to give us as much info as possible. DO NOT CALL RESCUE but if you have questions u can TEXT NO CALLS to 9146885499 - please do an application BEFORE texting Meet our ridiculously adorable 12 wk Great Dane Lab Retriever (26 lbs currently so not super giant) mix who is going to WOW you with her cuteness and charm. This happy cuties comes from our Georgia rescue after being left at a shelter for no reason - just another oops puppy that no one wanted to deal with after being a Valentines gift. Happily she is healthy and adorable (of course) and having a blast in foster. Great with kids cats and dogs AND cats - just super sweet adorable She has learned to be crate and house trained and to have good manners. Dane Lab mixes are SUPER smart and SUPER gentle so great breed for a wide range of applicants. Make sure to research all the fun (and training) for her to be the perfect BFF! Again raised and loves dogs cats kids! - Started house and crate training (believe almost 100%) - Gentle goofball - Super cuddly and friendly - Playful and raised in a foster for some time - Fine with dogs cats kids - had first rounds of vaccines plus dewormers and flea/tick preventatives - Neutered - Microchipped - Adoption in BEDFORD HILLS NY Video and more pics upon request! This cutie is ready so make sure to apply now before others jump ahead. She will likely grow to be med-large dogs guessing about 65-75lbs. WE DO NOT DNA TEST for breeds so you adopt and love what you get no matter what tests tell you or do not apply... We are guesstimating that her parents are Lab and Dane mixed (as we were told that by owners) but have not seen them in person. Also expect to hire a pro trainer - as all puppies of this age and breed need proper pro training to be perfect companions. As we said above, she has had their first vaccines so adopters will have to complete final rounds and has been microchipped dewormed and had all preventatives per age. Minimum donation required. Out of state adopters MUST pick up in Bedford Hills NY - no exceptions.

Story
Welcome Plainer to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 4-year-old Great Dane. She came in with a male Great Dane and she does great with him. She has a little grey on her muzzle and she smiles and wrinkles her nose. She then puts her head in your hands. It was startling the first time we saw her wrinkle her nose. We thought it was a negative indicator but the more we worked with her the more we knew it was her way to smile. She is adorable. She is moderately active and would be fine with a lower energy family. She will be fine as an only pet and she would be fine with children. She is an adult so you won’t have all the puppy antics to put up with. She is good in her crate and good on a leash. She is currently going to be cleared for the heartworms and then spayed and readied for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
