Story
Hi! I’m Bento, a heart full of joy and legs made for running! I am all about zoomies, playtime, and bouncing around like it’s my full-time job. I’m super friendly and love meeting people. I get excited easily (okay, very easily), and sometimes that means I jump up to say hi. I just have so much love to give, and I haven’t quite figured out how to contain it yet! I’m working on my manners, though—and if you’ve got treats, I’ll work even harder. I’ve got energy for days. I need an active home where I can run, explore, and play as much as possible. A yard to zoom around in? Yes, please! Long walks, hikes, or even jogs? Sign me up! I’m not a couch potato I’m more of a “let’s go on an adventure!” kind of guy!I’d do great with someone who understands high-energy dogs and can keep me physically and mentally engaged. Bonus points if you like training games, or even toys.

Story
Meet Misty! She's a smart lady who is smart as a whip! She's crate trained, mastered many commands (sit, down, off, mat, enough, go to your room, here, all done- more than most kids :). She loves to run, play fetch and be wherever you are! She's a year and a half old, and was lucky enough to have professional training donated to help her find her forever home. Whoever adopts her will receive at least one free hand off session from her trainer to help her transition go perfectly! Her ideal family would be somewhat active (she needs to run around a yard at least a few times per day). She gets along well with other dogs, but calmer dogs are best. Misty loves to play, but she can get very excited if the other dog is too energetic! She would do well with older children. Younger children and cats would require a lot of supervision. Her trainer thinks she would be a great agility dog, but she is smart enough to do anything you want to train her to do! She will require some active parenting to teach her the rules of your house, because she is so smart, she may try to make her own activities if nothing fun is provided! She's potty trained now (we had some overnight accidents until she started going in her crate at night). She's a great dog with a good head on her shoulders, and she wants to know if you are the one for her! $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.

Story
Hiya! I'm Oliver, and I'm a sweet and silly boy that is sure to make you smile!I'm very active and playful, and I love toys: squeakers, tennis balls, stuffies - you name it! A romp around the yard sounds like a blast to me. I'd love to get up and adventure with you too! Toys and treats are a great way to teach me- I love to learn! Plus doing some training together would be a great way for us to bond and for me to become the best dog I can be!After I'm done adventuring for the day, I love to spend time with my humans. I just can't get enough of my favorite people!I've met other dogs here at the shelter and I may do best with other larger exuberant dogs. I'll need to meet any pups you currently have to make sure we hit it off before you take me home!I will need a home without cats, small dogs or other small animals as I've been known to chase them.Guess what else? I am part of the Diamond in the Ruff program, which you can learn more about here. That means we'll have plenty of time to spend together before you officially adopt me!I'd love to get to know you - maybe you'd like to get to know me too? Then come stop by and say hi! Story
Meet Boone – A Gentle Soul Ready for a Fresh Start Boone is a striking Great Dane and Black Mouth Cur mix at 65 pounds with soulful eyes and a quiet, thoughtful demeanor. Rescued after being abandoned on the roadside, Boone's past suggests he was used as a hunting dog and likely spent much of his life confined to a kennel. This history has left him shy and cautious at first, but with time, patience, and kindness, Boone reveals his deeply affectionate side. Once he begins to trust, Boone becomes a devoted companion who craves gentle affection and enjoys peaceful moments with his person. He thrives in a calm environment and takes comfort in the presence of other dogs—he gets along wonderfully with canine companions and would benefit from a home with another friendly dog to help boost his confidence. Currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, Boone is looking for a foster or forever home in Central Texas only. He needs a loving, understanding family who can help him continue to blossom at his own pace. His ideal adopter would be someone familiar with hounds or someone who appreciates the gentle, loyal nature of these incredible breeds. If you're a hound enthusiast or simply someone with a kind heart and a quiet home, Boone may be the perfect match for you. He’s not just looking for a home—he’s looking for someone who sees his potential and will offer the love and patience he’s never known before. Boone is ready to start again. Story
Breaker is up for adoption in TX, NE and PNW (excluding MA)! Breaker is a 1-year-old, 65-pound Great Dane/Boxer mix with a heart as big as his goofy grin. This splash-happy pup LOVES the water—whether he’s chasing toys into the pool, splashing through a creek, or just romping around the yard, Breaker is always up for adventure. With the playful energy of a Boxer and the gentle, loyal nature of a Dane, he’s the best of both worlds—equal parts fun and affection. Breaker is dog-friendly (with pups his size), loves people, and is happiest when he’s part of the action. He’s making great progress with crate training and is learning his puppy manners, especially when treats are involved. Breaker wasn't given much structure as a pup so, Breaker sometimes tries to play bite to get his way. Even after a board-and-train program, he will need a family committed to consistent, positive reinforcement training to help him reach his full potential. Breaker would thrive in an active home with space to play and maybe even a doggy sibling to share his adventures with. If you’re looking for a loyal, silly, water-loving companion who will keep you laughing and fill your days with joy, Breaker is your guy! To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
