Meet Penny – the sweetest velcro Dane!Breed: Great Dane Age: ~5 Size: 120 lbs of loveEnergy: Ultra low — 2 zoomies a day, then nap cityGood with: People (loves both men & women), but prefers to be the only petKids: Best with older childrenSpecial Needs: Blind, but fearless and totally trusting on walksPenny is the ultimate companion — loyal, loving, and happiest right next to you (or on top of your feet). She’s crate trained, fully potty trained, and quiet as a mouse. She’s a pro at listening to voice cues like “step,” “stop,” and “tree” — and she will sniff you out no matter where you are.Meal times are pure joy. Her happy food dance is everything.Penny would thrive in a calm home with a single person, couple, or family with older children. Due to her blindness and her size, small kids may not be the best fit — she can’t see them, and they can be unpredictable. She’d prefer to be the only pet in the home. Though she originally lived with other dogs (including Danes), she quickly decided she’d rather not share her space or her humans. She doesn’t react to dogs on leash, though, so walks are easy-peasy.Penny loves her people so much she gets anxious when left alone — especially in a room away from you. She’s been known to try to chew her way back to your side (door knobs beware). But since moving her crate to the living room? She’s been a total angel.Penny is ready to be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, your everything.Adopt her and never go to the bathroom alone again. Teddy is a very loving and fun Great Weimar. He is definitely an indoor dog, crate trained, and absolutely gorgeous everywhere he goes people stop and ask about him. Because of his size and energy he needs someone who is skilled and handling large dogs. He does not have any temperament problems, he walks on a leash very well and is very house trained. A Great Weimar is a designer dog breed, created by crossing primarily Great Danes with Weimraners. (They may also have up to 12.5% Labrador Retriever) In order to qualify as a true Great Weimar, a dog must be no less than 25% either Great Dane or Weimaraner. The generations of the Great Weimar are indicated as follows: I can provide additional information later Adoption fee mandatory

Story
Hank is a sweet boy with a lot of energy. You must be experienced with large dogs, and you should not have small kids if you adopt him. He is extremely energetic and rambunctious. He is very food motivated, and with the right training he will make for an excellent companion. I hate to rehome him but he needs an owner with more time and resources for him. He acts pseudo aggressively with strangers. Its really just a lack of socialization. Unknown behavior with small children. Excellent with other dogs. Good with cats. Needs a good sized yard.

Story
Dawn and Rae are two truly special Kangal dogs, a Turkish herding breed, who are in need of a loving home. These fan favorites are known for their sweet and goofy personalities, as well as their powerful presence. Despite their strength, they can be timid and require love and patience. This bonded pair has been in boarding for far too long, and it’s time they find a forever home where they can thrive. Kangals are a remarkable breed, known for their loyalty and protective nature. By adopting or fostering Dawn and Rae, you’ll not only be gaining two wonderful companions, but you’ll also be giving them the chance to experience the love and care they deserve. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to these amazing dogs, please reach out to get connected to their rescue. Thank you for considering giving these girls a chance at a better life!
