Story
Lucy is an elegant Great Dane with the most wonderful and lovely personality. She is also very sophisticated - being housebroken, crate trained, and she heels nicely. Lucy gets along with other dogs and LOVES people. She is a quiet personality and a giant lovebug. All she wants is love, lots of pets, and good food to hide her ribs and hips. She looks like an older dog, but she is as spirited and playful as a two-year old.She is unbelievably sweet, smart, and despite the white on her face she is as nimble and spirited as a youngster. Lucy is crate trained and housebroken. Suspect separation anxiety, which I understand is common in these dogs and would be compounded by her experience I`m sure. She is a magnificent, regal, and loving creature. Anyone that adopts or fosters her will fall in love. Lucy was left to starve to death, abandoned in an apartment.

Story
Meet Rosie Beth: Your New Best Friend! I’m a gentle giant (90lbs.) who’s super friendly and affectionate! I love to play, run, and explore, and I’m always up for a new adventure. I’m great with other dogs as long as we’re properly introduced— I’m happy to make new friends! I’m fantastic with kids and adults— I’m a real people pup who loves to be around my family and give them all the snuggles. I’m still learning how to be the best dog I can be. I’m working on not pulling so much on the leash (sometimes I get a little too excited), but I’m smart and eager to please, so I’ll get the hang of it soon! I may be a big girl, but I’m house and crate trained and enjoy showing off my tricks or just entertaining myself with a good game. No small animals for me, though—I’m just not a fan of them. I’m known for being funny and loving, and I’m always up for a snuggle or a smooch. There’s never a dull moment with me around! Even though I’m pretty popular here at the rescue, I’m hoping to find a family that will be mine forever—someone who will give me all the love and attention I crave. If you think you could be the family for me, I’d love to get to know you better! Let’s see if we’re a perfect match. I can’t wait to meet you! ##1584949##

Story
Aren’t I a handsome young man? I was found during the cold snap and a nice lady brought me inside to warm up. I may be a youngster but I am very smart. I already know the command for sit and will stop at a curb or doorway and not move until I receive the command to go. I also know “off” so I won’t jump on you. I would love a family who loves to play and goes on long walks as I have lots of energy.

Story
Sugar is the cutest giant baby you could ever imagine! We adopted him from a shelter and were told he was a Lab but after a few months of constant growing, we surprisingly found out he was a Great Dane mix lol He has been an absolute pleasure and joy to hav,e but due to my current life situation I am no longer able to keep him. My baby just turned 1 in May. He still has tons of energy for a dog his size, so he does require daily exercise, but in moderation. I'm looking for a home that is loving, spacious, and someone who has time to dedicate to him. I would describe him as sleepy, stubborn... and he loves to pretend he's a lap dog even though he is a giant. The money for adoption is not important to me because I care more about the home than I do the money. There isn't price tag I can put on my Sugar.
