Home for the Holidays Adoption Promotion Participant: 50% off adoption fee 12/20-12/21 Meet Gertrude - our gentle brindle miracle. Gertrude, lovingly called Gertie, is a breathtakingly beautiful Great Dane with a heart every bit as big as she is. She came to us from a heartbreaking local cruelty and neglect case, where she was one of only two survivors. Despite everything she’s been through, Gertie has held onto her sweet, soulful nature, and she’s so ready to finally know safety, love, and comfort. Gertie is gentle, affectionate, and truly cherishes calm companionship…but don’t let her softness fool you, she absolutely lives for a joyful romp in the snow! Watching her kick up powder with those long legs is guaranteed to make you smile. This girl has survived so much, and she deserves a family willing to help her continue healing. Gertie can be a bit overwhelmed by very active or overly forward dogs, so while she previously lived with other animals, she’ll need the right match to feel safe and thrive. Slow introductions and respectful canine friends are key. We’re also recommending a home with older children, simply to give her the quiet, understanding environment she needs to settle in and build confidence. If you’ve been searching for a companion who is gentle, resilient, and endlessly loving, Gertrude may be the one. She’s ready for a soft place to land, and a family who believes she deserves the world. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Story
Venus is an adorable, Great Dane mix who weighs about 109 lbs. She can be a little shy and timid at first, but once you give her a few treats, she is sweet and affectionate. She knows basic commands like `sit`, `down`, `paw`, `leave-it`, `watch` and more! She is potty-trained and crate trained. She is considered a medium energy dog, who is food motivated and very bright because she is picking up training fast! She would do best in a house without other pets. She is a sensitive girl who is working hard on her dog reactivity training during walks! She is a good dog who will stare into your eyes lovingly and give little kisses. She is also a good office companion while her foster mom works from home! Story
Introducing the one and only `Johnny`. A Great Dane mix puppy who will settle in to your family routine and be a great addition to your household. He is demonstrating that he is smart by going to the door when he needs to go to the bathroom. His play is gentle and he is easily redirected back to his toys. He wants to cuddle with your family on these cold winter nights. He is dog friendly and is able to take cues from other dogs when they let him know they do not want to play. He is curious about his environment and is crate trained for a working family. Johnny is a puppy that is ready for you, are you ready for him?You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/JrsPupsNStuffInc Ask to meet me today!!Adoption fee: $525All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations.
