Story
Meet Doug! Doug is a handsome 1-year-old Great Pyrenees/Lab mix with a gentle heart and a sensitive soul. Although his previous home’s DNA test labeled him as 100% Great Pyrenees, we know his mother wasn’t a Pyr—so he’s truly a unique mix! Doug has had obedience training, but he’s still quite skittish and needs a patient, calm adopter who can help him continue building confidence. Because of his timid nature, he is not suited for homes with children under 10. He does well with other dogs and cats and would thrive in a quiet household where he can feel safe and settle in at his own pace. Doug has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and heartworm tested negative. His adoption fee is $250. If you have a peaceful home, a gentle approach, and a heart ready to help a shy boy blossom, Doug may be the perfect match for you.November 22, 2025, 6:59 pm

Shyloh is a sweet, social, and happy pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loves people, playtime, and making new friends. While his exact breed is a mystery, one thing’s for sure — he’s going to be a large, lovable companion! Shyloh will thrive in a home with a sturdy fence or supervised yard time, as he’s quite the little climber. If you’re looking for a loving, outgoing dog who will fill your home with joy and adventure, Shyloh is ready to meet you! ~  Est DOB:  May 2025 ~  Est weight:  35# @4mo  ~  Mystery mix~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlSeptember 15, 2025, 8:18 pm

Story
Sierra is a lovely Great Pyrenees mix with an equally lovely personality. She came to us with one puppy and proved herself to be a fine mama dog. She's 4 years old and came into our rescue thin at about 50 to 60 pounds; however, she'll mature to 70 pounds or more. Sierra loves other dogs and is very calm. Typically, she likes to lounge around and watch the world go by. A sweet girl who loves affection, she's great to have around. (posted 11/15/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **November 24, 2025, 2:32 pm
