Story
Meet Callie 🌸 Callie is a tenderhearted puppy with a sweet disposition and an affectionate, people-loving personality. This Great Pyrenees/Poodle mix is full of softness, fluff, and gentle charm. Born on October 11, 2025, Callie shares a remarkable rescue story with her siblings. Her poodle mama was found emaciated on a bridge and brought to safety, where she received the care she desperately needed. Just three weeks later, she surprised everyone by giving birth to three beautiful puppies — Callie being one of them. Callie adores people and does wonderfully with other dogs. She loves crawling into laps for cuddles, relaxing alongside her humans, and then bursting into playful puppy romps when it’s time to frolic and explore. She is expected to grow into a large, fluffy dog, so her forever home should be ready for a big companion with an even bigger heart. Callie has received all age-appropriate vetting and is ready to begin her next chapter with a loving family who understands the needs of a growing, large-breed puppy. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate pup who will grow into a loyal, fluffy best friend, Callie may be the perfect match. 🐾💕 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Story
Meet Lyla 🤍 Lyla is a sweet, gentle girl who can be a bit timid at first but warms up with time. She’s respectful on leash, neutral around other dogs, and does very well around them. She simply prefers calm, respectful dogs who don’t get up in her face. She’s not an “all over the place” dog and truly thrives in quiet, predictable environments. New situations can still spook her, so a slower lifestyle outside of a busy city would be ideal. Lyla is currently on a weight-loss journey, making proper leash walks an important part of her routine. At home, she’s a total couch potato and happiest relaxing in a calm space. She may be shy around new people at first but is very sweet once she feels safe. A quiet home where she has a safe space of her own and a patient, supportive human would be the perfect match. Lyla is looking for peace, consistency, and someone ready to help her grow in confidence, at her own pace. 🤍 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Story
Meet Sweetie 🩷 Sweetie is a precious baby puppy who truly lives up to her name. This Great Pyrenees/Poodle mix is full of love, fluff, and gentle affection. She adores people, enjoys the company of other dogs, and has a sweet, easygoing personality. Born on October 11, 2025, Sweetie comes from a true rescue story. Her poodle mama was found emaciated on a bridge, brought to safety, and given the care she needed. Just three weeks later, she gave birth to three beautiful puppies — Sweetie being one of them. Sweetie loves cuddling in laps but also enjoys playful puppy romps and exploring her world. She is expected to grow into a large dog, so adopters should be prepared for a big, fluffy companion. Perfect Home: Sweetie would thrive in a home that understands the needs of a large-breed puppy. A fenced yard is preferred, and she will need plenty of room to grow, play, and mature into her full size. A family committed to continued training, socialization, and lots of love would be ideal. We no longer have a flock of sheep for this guy to protect, and he needs a new home. He is great with our other dog and with our small children! He is not good around chickens which is a big reason we are rehoming him since we free range our chickens. He is 1 year old and is quite the big boy!

What a fine boy Thomas is! A Great Pyrenees mix, he presently weighs 60 to 70 pounds but will mature to around 80 to 90. (He came to us very skinny. Poor Dear!) Three years old, Thomas is described as very sweet, attentive, calm yet playful. Clearly he's a great boy who would be a fine addition to your family! Sierra is a lovely Great Pyrenees mix with an equally lovely personality. She came to us with one puppy and proved herself to be a fine mama dog. She's 4 years old and came into our rescue thin at about 50 to 60 pounds; however, she'll mature to 70 pounds or more. Sierra loves other dogs and is very calm. Typically, she likes to lounge around and watch the world go by. A sweet girl who loves affection, she's great to have around. (posted 11/15/25, ME) NO CATS, PLEASE.
