Story
Introducing our lovable furry friend! This charming pup is a people-person through and through—ready to soak up all the pets and attention from anyone, including strangers! However, when it comes to little ones, sudden movements and loud noises can startle him a bit. If children are calm and gentle, he's happy to hang out. Although he's not a fan of being carried or lifted up, he's a big fan of canine companions, especially smaller or similar-sized dogs. He's a true protector, but only when needed—stepping up if other dogs are too rowdy or aggressive. Birds? Squirrels? They definitely catch his eye during walks, but with a bit of leash training, he's working on his focus. In terms of energy, he's got the perfect balance—loving outdoor adventures but a total zen master indoors. While he might tug a little on walks, once he settles, he's an excellent leash follower. Busy streets can be overwhelming, so quieter spots are more his style. No guarding resources from people, but he might issue a gentle growl if other dogs get too close. When it's time to travel, he prefers a cozy crate in the car—helping ease those nerves and avoiding any car sickness. One thing's for sure—he's a potty pro outdoors only! Basic commands like sit, stay, paw, and eye contact? Nailed it! And did we mention he's a sucker for ice cubes? If you're ready to welcome this gentle giant into your heart and home, reach out to our team today to make him a part of your family! Story
Good day. My name is Shamu (Chamuw) and here is a little info about me:Breed: Great PyreneesAge: 10 monthsGender: maleHighlight(s): happy, friendly, cuddler Looking for a fella who is happy and friendly and who loves every person and dog he meets? You found him.I was rescued from a neglectful situation where I was kept in a small room and rarely walked, I have come through that ordeal with flying colors. Despite this neglrctful start in life, I am wonderfully sweet. I am great with cats and kids and very much enjoy the company of other dogs. It would be hard to imagine a more agreeable dog than me. While I certainly enjoy going for walks, I don't require a lot of exercise. Heck, I'm content to cuddle up with my foster or play with my doggie friends. I love to give hugs and insist on giving you my paw. I want you to know I am here for a hug anytime you need it. I've not been around cats, so unsure about being with one.One fear I currently have, that just needs time and patience to overcome, is getting into a vehicle. But, even when I am scared, I will never react poorly or aggressively. They say I am truly a gentle giant. My foster says I will make a tremendously terrific family pet.I'd love a home that is moderately active, but also enjoys chillin' and snugglin' on the couch. I have a lot of learning to do, as I missed out on do much. Hoping you give me the opportunity to show you what a very special boy I am. Energy Level: moderateI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: yesKids: yes Fears: Getting into vehicles. Please be patient assisting me in my transition. Leash skills: YesHouse trained: Yes Health notes:I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and will be microchipped upon adoption. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. ##1989890##

#ADOPTABLE <Bobby>💕💕💕 Vancouver BC Bobby is currently being fostered in Vancouver and is waiting for his forever home.PLEASE share the post to help this baby find his forever home. Thank you!! Here is his profile on our Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SNDogRescueAdoptionSociety Meet super lovely baby ~Bobby!!🥰🥰🥰 - 7 months old /30-31kg / 66-68lbs as of April 2024 - Great Pyrenees - Great with other dogs, adults, strangers - Sweet Companion - Chipped - Vaccinations are UTD and will be Neutered before go to new home. - Potty trained: Yes - Crate trained: Yes - Kid friendly: Yes - Cat friendly: Unknown - Energy level: Medium - Drive: Unknown at this time - Adoption fee: $500 Bobby's previous owner was an international student from China. Because of personal reasons, they had to return to China and left Bobby in Canada. Our volunteers did not want Bobby to have to get sent to the SPCA, so they took Bobby in. Sadly, Bobby was supposed to go to a foster home but he was attacked by his dog foster sibling, luckily the injuries were not serious and Bobby is now fully healed. Bobby is now at a different foster home. Bobby is a very playful but obedient puppy. He is almost 6 months old and around 27kg. We estimate that he will be around 50~55kg fully grown. He is a Great Pyrenees therefore, he is very intelligent and sweet .Bobby is very friendly to everyone and every dog.. We suggest that Bobby’s future adoptive family take him to dog training classes. Since Bobby is still a curious puppy, he likes to learn commands and needs obedience training. Training classes will bring a lot to the adoptive family and Bobby. The benefits also make Bobby a better companion dog. Additionally, Bobby is a large breed dog, meaning he will require lots of exercise and space. The ideal family for Bobby would have a backyard where Bobby can have space to relax. They should also ensure that Bobby gets enough exercise every day and is happy. Even though Bobby is only 5 months old, he has already learned some basic obedience, he is also doing well on leashed walks. He still likes to pull sometimes, so proper training is of the utmost importance as Bobby keeps growing. Bobby loves people and has the bad habit of jumping on people when he is excited, but we believe with some effort put in by Bobby's future owners, he will quickly learn how to be a perfectly well behaved dog. Bobby is not yet neutered, but once he has found his adoptive family, we will schedule to have this done before he moves to his new home. If you love big dogs and can put in the time and effort it takes to raise a well-behaved big dog, Bobby will definitely be a ray of sunshine in your daily life. We are looking forward to receiving your application forms. Our volunteers will get in touch with you ASAP to schedule a meet and greet with Bobby. @@Application form@@ https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1UAHI2AjBnc8jrXvEgezFAmCmMQkpDkxTA7s0UStYjcM/viewform?edit_requested=true&fbclid=IwAR3qonx8cHfegS0ktGQ6Cxr_Vu2Rfa1VUMGlApS7SMedGNkZ_jzY_Xalg_I ♡♡More pictures of Bobby♡♡ https://www.facebook.com/100070471832185/posts/449087950783596/

Story
Meet Ben! A young dog with an old soul. Ben is a 1 year old big, fluffy, goofy boy who we think is a great pyranees mix. But with rescue its always a mystery! Ben currently weighs around 70 pounds but he's really a gentle giant. What Ben loves more than anything is being outside in nature, no matter the weather! So he will need a home with a fenced back yard where he can go out as he pleases. But when he's back in the house, he's a perfect gentleman who is quiet in his crate and perfectly housetrained. He will be happy to lounge around at your feet. His next favorite thing is food! Ben will do cute tricks for food, like sit, speak, and shake! It will be a great way to bond with him! Teaching him new things will be a cinch with a few good treats. If you're looking for a pup that doesn't need constant attention, Ben is your guy! As long as you have a backyard for him to hang out in, he will be perfectly content. He does pretty well on leash but doesn't really need walks to be happy. He can even entertain himself if you give him some toys to toss around! Ben is great with all people, loves kids and other dogs big and small, but no kitties for this regal boy. In summary, Ben is a sweet gentle giant who would thrive in a home with another canine pal or two, a nice back yard to frolic and spend his days, and a family to love him for who he is. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
The face that drew you to here is Charlie, a brown-eyed boy with a gentle nature and dreams of a family of his own. If you are looking for chaos and wild, Charlie is not the one. His entire being exudes gentle and calm, love and warmth. carrying a big loving heart and all the traits of an adoring, loyal dog. One of my favorite things about Charlie is how peaceful his presence is, quiet company that just feels familiar. His demeanor and look lead us to believe he is a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix, approximately 1 year old, and he currently weighs 58 lbs. Breed and age are details we cannot offer 100% certainty on given the nature of Charlie being a rescue, but we do offer it as educated observations. What we can absolutely guarantee with Charlie is that heart-warming face and gentle nature. Charlie opened up as we introduced him to new dogs, though he didn’t show a big playful side, he was at ease and made connections with a variety of dogs, big and small. In addition to being dog friendly, Charlie was an angel with our resident house cat. You can see more in this video, including him meeting the cat and taking one heck of a nap on our couch. Given his size and nature, we would love to see Charlie in a home where he has space to explore and play. Although we didn’t get to see him run, once he is settled in a home and knows he is safe I have no doubt he will show you what those long legs can do. A house with a yard, a loving family, a mellow-friend or maybe even a feline friend. I can’t imagine many homes Charlie wouldn’t be well suited for. I sure do hope you’ll let him get on the couch though. He sure enjoyed it! If you can guard his big loving heart, he promises sweetness and loyalty in return. So, if you're looking for a four-legged friend who's got looks, charm, and a golden-good heart, Charlie is your guy! If you have any questions about Charlie or would like us to test him for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! Story
Black Rose is a sweet little innocent one! She is pretty laid back for a puppy, this seems to be a pretty laid-back group. She’s not hyper or jumpy or barky. Which is another reason why I’m guessing Pyrenees mix. She is estimated to be 4 months old and probably a lab Pyrenees mix but we cannot be sure since she is a rescue. She has a gorgeous, soft black coat, floppy ears, and she is about 26 lbs. No way to know how big she will end up being, but I predict approx 65 lbs. Black Rose has a very pleasant disposition. She is soft and will lay on the couch next to you quietly. She can be a bit shy at first but we’ve been working with her and she will continue to blossom!! She’s going to make a wonderful family companion or a best friend for someone. The foster has her on a good routine to go straight out to potty when she comes out of the crate, and she does well with a good routine like this. Buttercup is fully vetted and ready to go!
