Story
Cloud | Male | 3 year 11 months old | Great Pyrenees Weight: Approx. 32kg Cloud is a stunning Great Pyrenees with a soft, fluffy double coat. True to his breed, also known as a Pyrenean Mountain Dog, Cloud has a gentle and cozy exterior with a strong and protective inner nature. He’s not just calm and friendly—his gentleness comes from a deep-rooted confidence, as he believes in protecting those around him. Cloud has a sweet, peaceful personality, but don’t let that fool you. Beneath his calm demeanor, he has a firm sense of responsibility and determination to protect his surroundings. Though he’s a bit shy, you’ll quickly sense his trust and strength. Cloud is a high-energy dog, so he would thrive in a home with a large yard. He loves being active, playing, and running around. Daily outdoor activity is essential to keep him happy and healthy. He’s playful and enjoys both eating and having fun, showcasing his cheerful and innocent side. Despite his past, where he was abandoned at a shelter, Cloud is quick to warm up to new people. While he hasn't had much basic training yet, Cloud is highly intelligent, and positive reinforcement, such as treats, helps him learn quickly. He may pull on the leash during walks out of curiosity, but he’s improving with practice and guidance. Cloud is also great with other dogs, including smaller ones. He’s big in size but still exhibits the endearing behaviors of a puppy, which make him even more lovable. Cloud would be best suited for someone who understands the Great Pyrenees breed or enjoys large dogs and is looking for a companion to enjoy daily outdoor activities with. If you're ready for a loyal, loving companion and are willing to provide training and structure, Cloud will be a lifelong friend, offering deep love and trust in return.

Story
🌼 Meet Nola 🌼Nola is a 5‑month‑old LGD mix with a heart as gentle as her eyes. So far, life hasn't been easy for this sweet girl. She has spent her short life outdoors, and at some point she suffered a broken leg that never received the veterinary care it needed. To ensure Nola can live a long, comfortable, and pain‑free life, that leg will soon need to be amputated.Despite everything she has been through, Nola's spirit shines through.Since arriving in our care, we've seen a tender, affectionate puppy who is eager for connection but still finding her footing in a brand‑new world. She seeks out gentle attention, and while she's hesitant when entering a building, once she's inside she settles down, lays quietly, and seems to realize she's finally safe.Nola will thrive in a patient, calm, and understanding home-one that's ready to support her as she heals, builds confidence, and learns what it means to be loved. She doesn't need perfection; she just needs kindness, routine, and reassurance.✨ Nola's surgery is booked, and she is eligible for a foster‑to‑adopt arrangement while awaiting her procedure. Her foster family would simply drop her off and pick her up for surgery, and our team will support you every step of the way.If you feel your heart pulling toward this special girl and believe you could offer her the loving, forever home she deserves, please fill out a pre‑adoption questionnaire. Nola is ready to start her new chapter-one filled with comfort, care, and love. 🤍 Primary Color: White Secondary Color: White Weight: 18.6 Age: 0yrs 5mths 2wks

Story
Hello there! I’m Ether, and here’s a little peek into who I am  Breed: Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mixAge: 6 yrsGender: MaleWeight: 31 kgCountry of Origin: LebanonHighlight(s): Affectionate, obedient, playful, sweet, lovable Hi there! I’m Ether — a gentle soul with a big heart who loves deeply and stays loyal forever. I may look big, but inside I’m still just a puppy waiting to be loved back. One summer day, I was so happy. I was riding in the car with my family, full of excitement, thinking we were going on a fun adventure together. My tail was wagging, and my heart was full. But my happiness didn’t last. I was taken out of the car and left on the side of the road — alone. I truly thought they were playing a game with me, that they would come back any second. So I waited... People tried to call me, to make me move, but I refused. I couldn’t leave. My family was supposed to come back for me. When they returned hours later, I was still there. This time, I knew. I saw it in my own eyes — the hope was gone. They weren’t coming back. Since that day, I’ve been given shelter, food, and safety. I’m no longer sitting on the road waiting, but what I truly need is a family — one that will never leave me behind again. I am affectionate, sweet, playful, and very obedient. I bond deeply with my people and love being close. Despite what I’ve been through, I still trust, still love, and still believe in kindness. I would thrive in a home that can offer love, patience, and companionship. I don’t just want a place to live — I want a family to belong to. Training: I am obedient and eager to please. I learn quickly and respond well to guidance. Leash skills:Yes — but please be prepared to continue training and help me build confidence. House trained: Unknown — please help me learn where to go in my new home. Health Notes : No known health issues. I have been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $750.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems. Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. [TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Leishmania, Heartworm, Ehrlichia, & Anaplasma, as well as Giardia, Parvo, Corona & Distemper. ##2616042##

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate.Meet Yeoreum💕 (her name means “Summer” in Korean)💙 Adogs Update Account: @_adogs_1.) Health Condition Spayed. Microchipped, and heartworm negative2.) Rescue Story Yeoreum had spent a long time in a raised wire cage at a dog meat farm and was on the brink of slaughter when Adogs arrived. Fortunately, she was rescued just in time.3.) Basic Information With People: Takes her time adjusting to new environments and is slowly opening her heart. Shows curiosity toward strangers by sniffing them and wiggles her tail happily when she sees familiar faces. While she may try to retreat when startled by touch, she calmly accepts it once it happens. During walks, she comfortably enjoys petting from people she trusts. With Dogs: Generally plays well with other dogs, but will growl or show her teeth if another dog is too pushy or if she wants to rest alone. Caution is needed as she may snap at other dogs in these situations. With Cats: Does not react to cats during walks and remains calmly focused on her handler. Separation Anxiety: Since she is currently living in a group at our center, this is unknown. Potty Training: Currently relieves herself outdoors at our center. Re-training may be necessary in a new environment. Hygiene: Might try to dodge the brush initially inside her kennel, but soon settles down. In open play areas, she tends to run away from grooming. However, she is very well-behaved during baths. Walks: May try to avoid the leash in the playground, but waits calmly in her kennel and walks very well once outside! Car Sickness: No motion sickness observed during short trips (e.g., to the vet). Long-distance travel experience is limited and would need monitoring. May growl when other dogs are too assertive or when she wants to be left alone, so supervision is required. Has a great appetite and loves food! Also enjoys resting peacefully indoors by herself. Thanks to extensive kennel training, she can handle long periods in a crate, making her a great candidate for flight travel. May get startled and run away if a person approaches too suddenly, but she stays calm once they begin petting her. * Is a calm girl with a moderate energy level. While she is a bit shy around humans, she is a bright and lovely dog who truly enjoys her walks and treats.
