Story
Meet Chester & Cooper 🐾 Bonded Gentle Giants Looking for Their Forever Farm… or Couch Chester and Cooper are the kind of dogs that stop people in their tracks. These two Great Pyrenees boys are not just stunning—they're sweet, soulful, and totally inseparable. A little over a year old, they're still young but already carry the calm, majestic presence the breed is known for. And yes, they must be adopted together—because where one goes, the other follows (usually to the comfiest nap spot in the yard). If you’ve never met a Great Pyrenees before, let us introduce you to one of the most regal, loyal, and fiercely gentle dog breeds out there. Bred for centuries to guard flocks in the mountains of France and Spain, these working dogs are known for their protective instincts, intelligence, and calm nature. Chester and Cooper still carry those guardian traits—especially Cooper, who likes to keep an eye on things and make sure his people and property are safe. Chester? He’s the more laid-back half of the duo, content to stretch out in the sun and keep the good vibes going. Don’t let their chill demeanor fool you, though—these boys are masters of escape artistry. They've clearly taken a few pages out of the "How to Houdini" handbook, so a secure, tall fence is a must. They love the outdoors and would thrive in a home with land or a spacious yard to roam. But whether it’s a farm or a fenced-in backyard, they’ll need a place where they can enjoy their space safely. At heart, they’re giant goofballs. They love to laze around, get belly rubs, and soak up attention. They’ll make you laugh, make you feel protected, and definitely make your couch a little more crowded (and a lot more warm and fuzzy). Both boys are neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to start their new life together with a family who understands their breed, their bond, and their brilliance. Looking for two loyal guardians with hearts of gold and clouds for fur? Chester & Cooper might just be your perfect pair. 👉 Apply to adopt these gentle giants: Adopt Chester & Cooper

Story
🐾 Meet Chester & Cooper – The Gentle Giants Who Come as a Set 💛 Yes, we do get purebreds at the shelter. People breed them, life happens, and when they become “inconvenient,” shelters and rescues like ours pick up the slack. But we’re not here to judge — we’re here to help these boys find the loving, lasting home they deserve. Chester and Cooper are a bonded pair of Great Pyrenees brothers who truly are the peanut butter and jelly of the dog world — perfect together, impossible to separate, and guaranteed to make everything better. At just over a year old, they’re still young, but already carry that calm, noble Pyrenees energy that makes everyone stop and stare. If you’ve never met a Great Pyrenees, imagine a majestic guardian wrapped in a fluffy cloud. This ancient breed was made to protect flocks in the mountains of France and Spain, and our boys definitely got the memo. Cooper likes to keep an eye on things — your home, your yard, your heart — while Chester takes his duties a bit more… horizontally. (He’s the chill half of the team and a pro at napping in sunbeams.) These boys adore people, belly rubs, and lounging like royalty, but they’ve also mastered the art of escape — so a tall, secure fence is non-negotiable. They’ll do best with a home that gives them room to roam safely, whether it’s a farm, a big fenced yard, or an adventure-ready homestead. 💙 The Details: Bonded pair — must be adopted together Neutered, vaccinated, and ready for their forever family Great Pyrenees experience (or serious research) recommended Require a secure, tall fence Equal parts guardians, comedians, and couch warmers If you’re looking for two loyal protectors with hearts of gold, cloud-soft coats, and a bond that’ll melt yours — Chester & Cooper are waiting to meet you. 👉 Apply to adopt these Gentle Giants: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CPRG/Dog 📍 Castoff Pet Rescue | Blairsville, GA

Story
Look at me look at me where the cutest little sisters you ever did see! My name is Aspen and my sister's name is Sage. We came from Blue Ridge, Georgia and now are being fostered by Miss Kaye who is very experienced with Puppies. We are big puppies. I'm the one with the eyebrows and my name is Aspen. My sisters fur is a little bit darker. I weigh 35 pounds and my sister weighs 32. We're about four months old and are looking for our forever home. If we can go together, that would be great but we do understand that sometimes one big dog is enough. Guess what? We’re already crate trained and housebroken! Miss Kaye said we're very smart and lovable. I play with her Husky and another Pup that's about a year old. She also has a cat. We are a mixture of great Pyrenees, Labrador and maybe some Husky. WE THINK? All of these are excellent qualities and loyal smart dogs. Safe Pet Project found out about us and knew we needed a home. So they jumped on it and found us a wonderful Foster. We will be up for adoption in a few weeks. We had a complete check up, and all our vaccinations. We need one more booster in mid January. We are ready for adoption right before Christmas. We will have to be stayed probably mid summer and Safe Pet Project will pay for this along with microchipping using Nottely Oaks animal Hospital. Also, I'm good with kids. My adoption fee is $150 which is a fantastic deal. I'll have all of my vaccinations for one year, I will be spayed when Dr. Lynn says I'm old enough, I will be microchipped at time of spay. All of this for only $150. Just in time for Santa Claus to bring me to a fabulous home If you are interested, please contact Safe Pet Project in Blairsville, Georgia. Fill out an application at : safepetproject.org or call 706-400-7076 ext. 2. Don't forget to leave a message so our Adoption Coordinator can contact you.
