Story
Hi there, I'm Cleo—a fun loving and smart Great Pyrenees mix with a dash of Great Dane in my looks. I’m just over a year old (5/28/23), weigh around 60 pounds, female and already spayed. I'm on the lookout for a special family who can appreciate my unique personality and needs. Personality and Preferences: Loves Activities: Count me in for car rides, walks, backyard adventures, or just lounging on the deck watching the world go by. Affectionate and Alert: I adore snuggling with my people and take my job of patrolling the backyard seriously. Intelligent and Playful: I'm a quick learner and enjoy mental stimulation, especially with chew toys and sticks. House Trained: I've got this down pat! No accidents here. Dislikes Crating: I prefer to have my space and freedom. Play Style: I love a good play session and have a natural instinct to chase. My play style is very physical with other dogs, some call it rough, so I might do best as the only pet or with a male dog my size or larger, with proper introductions. Leash Manners: While on walks, I bark at dogs when I see them. Offering me a treat helps distract and refocus me. Resource Guarding: I guard my favorite things like socks, but I'm willing to trade for a treat—I'm a smart negotiator! Ideal Home: My perfect home would be with someone who's around most of the time and has a big fenced yard where I can bask in the sun and stretch my legs. A single person, a couple, a family with older kids -- all will work for me. I thrive on human companionship and get along well with everyone I meet. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's both sweet and smart, I could be the perfect match for you. Let's meet and see if we're meant to be family!   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. Story
Meet Beary Tree   Beary Tree is a stunning, 3 year old, Great Pyrenees mix. He weighs about 65 pounds. He has a medium energy level, is house trained, and working on crate training, but does well out in the house when left alone.   This guy is Mr. Charisma. He loves everyone and everyone loves him.  He loves car rides and walks. Hikes are a big hit with Beary Tree too, but he can be barky when approaching other dogs. He is working on this and is making progress. His fluffy coat is silky soft and invites many pets which works for him since he feels that there are never enough of those.   He loves hanging out in the yard, so a fenced yard is a good idea for this guy. Beary is a very intelligent dog who enjoys having something to do whether it is working on training, hiking, walking or whatever activity you love, he is up for it. On the flip side, he is also a big fan of daytime naps and just hanging out. Beary will do best in a home where he is your one and only four legged family member.   This sweet boy is a joy and loves his people. He is going to be a great addition to a lucky home. Story
Vanilla Delight was chained outside when we recused her, but as an Angel dog she’s discovered indoors and LOVES it!   She is a delightful house guest who is fully potty trained and has lovely manners. She is a gentle soul who is shy at first, but now seeks out love and affection. She gets along with dogs both big and small. She shows no prey drive, so we think she’ll be good with cats too.     She walks well on a leash with no pulling. She is crate trained, and likes watching the Great British Baking Show from her crate. But of course she’d prefer watching TV with her people on a sofa.    Vanilla Delight would do best in a home where her primary caretaker is female, until she learns that the men in the house are kind and trustworthy.     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Meet Saul - Hi everyone! My name is Saul, and I am a 4-year-2-month- old Great Pyrenees with the whitest coat around! I currently weigh around 99 pounds, and I am fully grown. Everyone here says I am the biggest cuddle bug around. I love all people and will let you pet me whenever you want as I thrive off of human interaction. When I see you approaching me, I will let out a low howl to show off my excitement. I DO NOT like other dogs or cats. I have been briefly tested on a leash with goats and chickens and I was ok, but we do not know how I would do once I get comfortable. I have the best leash manners as I do not pull and will walk right beside you at a slow pace (I like to take my time). I am however VERY leash reactive when taking a walk if other animals are around, as I don't like them. I do like to keep my kennel clean, but that's because I am a gentleman. I love being outside and will lay out in the sun and take a nap all day if you let me. I do have a lot of fur, but I don't mind being brushed at all - it makes me look even cuter! I am very protective of my people and will guard you. I need to have a large fenced-in area, maybe even a farm, but I also love a family to spend time with inside. My ideal home would be with an experienced Great Pyrenees dog owner who is a strong dog handler, that way I can thrive in my new home and be set up for success. If you are interested in learning more about me, please stop by the Humane Society of Forsyth County, Tuesday through Thursday between 11 am and 5 pm and Friday and Saturday between 1 pm to 5 pm. I will be waiting patiently to greet you! Love, Saul!

Story
He is a super sweet boy around the age of 1 year old. He is Great Pyrenees and completely white in color. He loves loves to walk, play with other dogs and good with kids. Unknown on the cat part and doesn’t seem to have a prey instinct at all. He would need to be in a home with a fenced in yard and he isn’t fond of a dog crate at all.
