Story
Meet Sully and Pearl ☁️🐾 Around here we lovingly call them the Marshmallow Dogs… because honestly, they look like two giant, slightly toasted marshmallows that grew legs and decided to follow you around. 🤍 These two young Great Pyrenees were originally found living in heartbreaking conditions in Murphy. Animal Control was preparing to step in, but just before that could happen, the pups suddenly “disappeared.” In other words, they were dumped somewhere and left to fend for themselves. For the next week and a half they popped up everywhere across Facebook. A sighting here. A sighting there. Two big fluffy pups wandering and trying to figure out the world. Finally a kind Good Samaritan managed to secure them in their backyard and called in the cavalry. That is when Castoff Pet Rescue came in and scooped them up. 🐶🚗💨 Now Sully and Pearl are living the good life down at the barn in their own little palace while they wait for their forever family. 🏡 And let us tell you… these two could not be sweeter if they tried. It truly feels like they may have never been loved on before. Talk to them, smile at them, give them a head pat or a belly scratch and their giant fluffy tails start wagging about 90 miles an hour. Just looking at them makes them happy. 🥹 They are about a year old and currently underweight. We have been fattening them up to their potential, but they still need some lbs. So snacks are extremely motivating. Offer a treat and you have two very enthusiastic students. 🍖 Sully and Pearl are deeply bonded and prefer to stick together. When they go for walks side by side they stroll like absolute pros on leash. Two big marshmallows floating along like the majestic fluff parade they were always meant to be. ☁️☁️🐾 Because they had virtually no socialization before rescue, they can be reactive to other dogs and cats. This is not typical for the breed, and since they are still young we are hopeful that with patience and guidance they will continue to learn how the world works. They also need to eat separately because after going hungry for so long, they are protective of their food. Totally understandable. 🍽️ Because they are bonded their rehoming price will be $500 for BOTH of them. ($250 each) What they truly need now is someone patient and kind who will help them grow into the confident, gentle Great Pyrenees they were always meant to be. Someone who understands these two were failed once before and deserve the rest of their lives to be filled with love. If you have room for two giant marshmallow shadows who will adore you with their whole fluffy hearts, Sully and Pearl are ready to start their happily ever after. 🤍🐾☁️ Meet them here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CPRG/Dog

Story
Meet Phoenix! Phoenix is a sweet, curious puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loves being outside, playing with squeaky toys and tennis balls, and going on trips to the ballpark with his foster family—where he’s always thrilled to be the center of attention for all the kids! At home, Phoenix is a fluffy white shadow who will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. When it’s time to relax, his favorite nap spot is the cool glass under the coffee table. Phoenix is already off to a great start with his manners. He sleeps through the night in his crate and is mostly potty trained—he’s even learned to go to the door when he needs to go outside.Phoenix is looking for a loving home where he can keep learning, playing, and sharing his sweet spirit. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate companion who will bring smiles and fun to your home, Phoenix might just be your perfect match! Visit ruffredemption.org to complete an application. All Ruff Redemption Dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive a minimum of two distemper/parvo vaccines, medication for the treatment and prevention of intestinal worms, and monthly heart worm/flea prevention while in our care. Rabies vaccines are given if the dog is 16 weeks of age or older.  March 6, 2026, 10:31 pm

Story
Hello, my name is Teddy,I am a large breed dog know as a Great Pyrenees, and I am 6 years old. I was brought to the shelter in late February by a nice human after I was repeatedly seen around the area. Like most dogs in my breed, I am very calm and often times independent. I appear to want to do my potty business outside, but my friends here are not sure if I am completely potty trained. I hope you'll look past how large I am and give into the cuddles. I'll see you soon!Weight: 82 lbs Primary Color: White Weight: 82.3 Age: 6yrs 0mths 3wks
