I am a very sweet boy and love meeting new people! I am good with dogs according to the people that found me. This wonderful girl is potty trained, crate trained, independent, and absolutely loves the company of other dogs. She enjoys spending time outdoors, playing in water and pools, and relaxing in her favorite spots around the house. She even likes lounging on the back of the couch like a cat! Delilah has so much love to give, but she’s not the kind of dog who will immediately run into your arms. She’s naturally timid around people and needs plenty of time, patience, and understanding before she feels comfortable enough to trust someone. And when we say patience, we mean it! Building a relationship with Delilah can take a long time, but her foster family has experienced just how rewarding those little breakthroughs can be. She’s slowly learning that human affection can be a wonderful thing, and every small step forward is worth celebrating. Delilah’s Ideal Forever Home Delilah needs a calm, confident, and patient adopter who understands that trust cannot be rushed. She does best when people give her space, avoid overwhelming her with attention, and allow her to approach them when she’s ready. A home with other friendly, confident dogs is a MUST! Delilah relies heavily on canine companionship for comfort and confidence. She absolutely thrives around other dogs, and having multiple canine friends would be even better! She is good with children, although her timid nature means she’ll need gentle, respectful interactions. This handsome Great Pyrenees mix is 7 months old and weighs about 45 pounds. He is on the skinny side, and will add a few pounds. And he will melt your heart with his eyes, personality, and the affection he will shower you with. We don't know much about his background, but do not believe he came from a great environment. He was initially reserved and apprehensive around his new foster family, as we don't think he had a good experience with people. But he quickly learned that nice people are good, and began opening his heart after only a few days. He now LOVES his belly rubs (will roll onto his back in a New York second), loves to have the back of his ears scratched, and is a great foot snuggler, a bonus as we are approaching cooler weather. He is learning to relax, and has gotten better each day at becoming more and more comfortable in this new nurturing family environment, which is not what he had known before. He is such a funny boy, still a little goofy and growing as a toddler, but an "older soul" past the crazy puppy stage. He likes playing with toys, although that's new to him and he's learning. And he's started playing with balls, both on his own and when his people want to play with him. He's still learning his potty manners, but has been a quick study with accidents happening very rarely. He does great in a crate, is very food motivated, and is good on a leash and getting better every day. He is just such a good, good boy and will be an amazing addition to some lucky family. Bondi has so much love to share, and just needs to find that family who is looking for that love. All he asks and needs is to get it back, and he will be your best friend for life. He's great with everyone - adults and kids alike - and is friendly with other dogs, but shy and wanting to be sure they are friendly with him!
