Meet CJ! CJ came to us over 2 years ago from a kill shelter in Oklahoma. He was very scared and we helped him learn what love is. He was adopted for a while, but was recently returned for issues going potty in the house and being scared of men. His foster is a trainer and I working on these with him - he's doing great! He is very dog friendly and a big sweetheart who just wants to curl up next to his people. Your dreams of a Great Pyrenees family member are coming true. And if you know about Great Pyrs, you know that family is their highest priority. Grace Kelly is a 2-year-old Great Pyr mix. Like is typical of her breed, Grace is affectionate with family, protective of her home and about medium energy. She is also super intelligent, and she really will blow you away with how quickly she learns things and what she figures out. She is a mellow companion around the house, ready for action whenever you want her to be. Grace loves to play tug-of-war so much! She likes to be with her people, including children, whom she is very good with. And she has been well socialized with other dogs, at doggie daycare and off-leash. She might do best with a well-matched dog friend in the home, but that is not required. Grace, like Great Pyrs can be, is initially wary of new people who come into the home, but with some treats and a little practice, she warms up just fine. Her coat is a gorgeous flowing white, and when she runs her tail flows behind her like ribbons. She's basically her own fashion show. Grace is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and she's current on flea/tick prevention and heartworm preventative. Her adoption fee is $175. Helllllllllllllllllllllooo! I am Blippi, the Greatest Great Pyrenees looking for a loving family! Would that be you? I am not entirely sure of my age, maybe 2 to 3 years old. I didn't have a great start at all before Lucky 13 rescued me. I lived my life on a log chain, left outside, with little food and not much hope. Since my freedom, I have found that I like air conditioning. I like a yard that I can romp around in. I will need a fence that is taller than 4' because even for my size, I have jumps. I really like SNACKS! I'm the Sweetest Faced Monkey my foster mom has ever seen. ( I don't know what a Monkey is, but it's apparently very sweet.) I like other dogs and will play with them. I find cats interesting, but not interesting enough to do more than occasionally sniff them. Their cat food is tasty though. I am good on walks! I am mostly good in the car, but I do think I should be allowed to drive at least once! I'm not sure what squeaky toys are. I don't really like the noise they make, but I will occasionally carry one. Did I say that I liked SNACKS? Cookies? SAMMICH?? YES, PLEASE! I am working on putting on weight. I'm up to 80lbs, but I could stand to pack on a bit more. I am 90% house trained, but I don't really like a kennel. My foster mom leaves me to free roam in the house when she's at work. My superhero powers is that I can stare adoring into your eyes and make your worst day much better. I am heartworm positive. I'm currently going through heartworm treatment so I can live my best life. Lucky 13 covers all of these costs so don't you worry about your pocketbook when you fall in love with me. Salutations are greetings; it's my fancy way of saying hello - says our Wilbur. Meet Wilbur. He is a Great Pyrenees who is but 6 months old! He was found as a stray with his buddy, both too young to be roaming the streets on their own, and dropped off at KC Pet Project. Wilbur does attend playgroups with the other dogs, he is social and seems to enjoy both male and female dogs. He also likes to play, nonstop sometimes! No one had ever had such a friend-so affectionate, so loyal, and so skillful - that would be our Wilbur! Wilbur will come neutered, vaccinated and ready to be part of a loving family!
