Meet CJ! CJ came to us over 2 years ago from a kill shelter in Oklahoma. He was very scared and we helped him learn what love is. He was adopted for a while, but was recently returned for issues going potty in the house and being scared of men. His foster is a trainer and I working on these with him - he's doing great! He is very dog friendly and a big sweetheart who just wants to curl up next to his people. Grace Kelly is a gorgeous 4-legged princess! This loving, smart girl is a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix who is wonderful and at home with the whole family. She is a tug-of-war champion (well, unofficially) and so, so intelligent. She loves to be next to her person and is good with children. She is well socialized with dogs off-leash and has been going to doggie daycare weekly. Grace is house trained and crate trained, as well as trained in basic commands. She does not love the leash, however, and she is sometimes so afraid of strangers who come into the home that she responds with what looks like aggression. So, she will need someone willing to work with her to reassure her and train her how to respond appropriately. Because your reward will be living with this princess and basking in her love and protection - and occasionally being blown away by her smarts! She might do best with a well-matched dog friend in the home. Grace is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and on prevention for heartworm and flea/tick. Her adoption fee is $175. Will you give me a chance? Dottie is a loving and steadfast companion to the small humans & older dog that reside in her current home of 3 years, since her rescue from wayside waifs. They thought she was a beagle, yet she grew into a gentle giant. She is brilliant with people, gracious with guests & very happy at doggie daycare with play pals. She loves to be brushed & to play fetch. Dottie is house & leash trained. Dottie needs a new home because we live on a busy residential corner lot, with many families & pets walking by- no matter how much time & love we have invested in training her, she has not adjusted past her innate, natural instinct to protect our property. The local shelters and support groups will not help her- can you? She deserves a more peaceful life where she doesn’t feel agitated by life outside the windows of our home. Brida is 2½ years old, we've had her for 2 years. We got her from a rescue, she had been through 4 different homes before us. She LOVES kids and wants to play with all dogs. She is stand-offish at first with adults. Brida really needs a large fenced yard where she can run freely. I have an autistic 3 year old son and she is AMAZING with him. Kennel and house trained, knows basic commands, and could easily learn more as long as you have the time to put into training. I'm a single mom with my son 100% so I just was unable to. She loves laying on pillows, cuddles in bed, and big hugs. I will give you her kennel, bed, toys, and whatever food and treats are left.

Adoption Fee $250. Wrigley Charizard is a Great Pyrenees. He is VERY impressionable right now. He's not and will not be your perfect jogging buddy. He  loves his people and is a great boundary pusher at the little infant age of 10 weeks. He may easily be 90+ lbs. He wants to be with me... Like a lot. He has been fine with all of my dogs and cats and kids and takes correction / redirection well. He eats a lot and loves anything he considers to be edible. He needs to be fed separately and frequently to ensure he maintains a good relationship with food. I have no doubts that he would guard items like this from other dogs, possibly people. Not as intimidating now ... But in 6 months if mismanaged, it could be. Those who know me know I'm pretty dang transparent about dogs so I'm telling you this because although I love him. I don't want him back. In the last 2 years we have had an increase in returns. The puppyhood wore off and they grew up into some fairly serious problems. This is the biggest reason we are on adult intake hold right now. I could go on but I'll end with he's very cute. He's very handsome. He's very loud. He will be big. And he questions all authority.
