We adopted Gracie in 2024 but she was on her own before that. As a result, she can be a bit anxious, but we’ve made a lot of progress. Unfortunately, our life situation is changing, and we will no longer be able to give her the care and attention she deserves. While initially reserved, Gracie is a sweet, loving dog once she gets to know you. She can be quite playful, although she’s usually content to relax around the house. She sometimes reacts to triggers like sudden loud noises and is protective of the household. She’s an effective watchdog. She has had one minor bite incident that broke skin (no medical attention needed), but the majority of the time her anxiety is very manageable. She is currently in training and is progressing very well! Her ideal situation would be as a solo pet in a quiet home with adults only or possibly older children who are willing to continue her training. She is potty trained, sleeps in her crate at night, and walks great on a leash. A great companion

Heidi is an almost 11-year-old Great Pyrenees/Husky mix who weighs around 92 pounds. She is a sweet, quiet girl who is looking for a home that matches her energy level. Here are some great qualities Heidi brings to the table: 🩷House Trained 🩷Crate trained 🩷Walks well on a leash 🩷Good with older, respectful kids Heidi has a lower energy level but loves to chew on bones. Heidi would prefer to be an only dog or to live in a home with another low-energy dog who respects her space. She is dog selective and would need to meet any other dogs living in the home to ensure a proper match. While Heidi walks well on a leash, she prefers a fenced backyard to do her business. Gallardo is a very friendly dog and enjoys running around. He is approx. 3 years of age. He enjoys digging and cooling hose showers in the heat. The reason we are looking for a new home is because it has become much more difficult for my family to care for him. The spot given to him as well has become much too restrictive for him, and he deserves a sprawling area where he can run around. As his breed demands, he needs to be around others and in a more appropriate ranch-like setting.

To answer your questions - yup, he`s a Pyrenees who`s lost his fluff! Cormac arrived at the shelter in need of some care, so to help him be his best, he got a shave and a haircut! He may be fluff-less now, but before long, this gorgeous senior gentleman will return to his furry glory!From his foster family, we know that:* He is very, very low energy* He prefers to be inside but will take a lap in the yard to see what`s going on when necessary* He is housetrained* He prefers to eat away from other animals* He is the gentlest soul, asking only for a little attention and a cool place to lie down As a senior boy, Cormac is ready to settle back and observe life between naps. He lives for affection and will gently make himself available any time you`d like to pet him. He`d prefer that to be very frequently, but he will accept that you have other things to do and will quietly lay nearby just in case you change your mind.He has an amazing gentle presence and the most soulful eyes. If you`re looking for a little zen in your life, Cormac will happily be your source of calm and peace in today`s crazy world.Cormac is living in a foster home. Story
Freya is a Doberman/Great Pyrenees mix with a sweet and silly personality. She is incredibly smart, easy to train, and very loyal to the people she loves. She loves long walks, camping, and basking in the sun during the summertime. She would do very well with an active owner as she is a big girl with a lot of energy. She is very loving, and despite her size, she is a great snuggler. Freya will thrive in a home where she is the only pet and gets lots of exercise.Freya struggles with resource guarding around other dogs in her home. We have an older dog that we had before Freya and we are at a point where she is instigating fights with him when he gets too close to her toys or her space. She is stronger than him and has injured him a few times, and this is why we are choosing to rehome her. She does great at doggy daycare, boarding, and even with other dogs out at the lake. This issue seems to be strictly within her own space, and we think she would do best as the only dog in the home.
