Story
Balto is the most goofy, loving, loyal boy ever. He loves belly scratches, cuddles, running around the backyard endlessly, doing tricks for string cheese might be his favorite though. Bath time is not his favorite though he does tolerate it and when he is done and clean he gets the funniest zoomies so be prepared! Unfortunately Balto does not seem to be meshing well with my kids pretty suddenly. He grew up with my oldest who has autism so really they juat learned to coexist, not pay any mind to each other. Until I had my second child, who is the opposite of my first. He loves dogs, he wants to very much be in baltos space and balto does not like that. He needs to be in a home with no young children, at least a teenager. Balto also tends to resource guard, but that is manageable. When we feed him we keep our space and when he is finished and we need to pick his bowl up we throw a treat to distract him away from his bowl and that works wonderfully.

🐾💗 Meet Jadis! 💗🐾 This beautiful girl is a 5-month-old Great Pyrenees mix puppy 🥰 Jadis is going to be a BIG girl, likely weighing **85+ pounds when fully grown**… but that’s going to be **85+ pounds of pure LOVE!** ❤️🐻 Jadis is an active, playful puppy who loves being outside and would absolutely love a **fenced-in backyard** where she can run, explore, and burn off some puppy energy. 🌳🐶 A doggy sibling to wrestle and play with would also be a huge bonus! 🐕💕 She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She has been around both **dogs and cats** and has been friendly with everyone. 🐶🐱❤️ Like any puppy, Jadis is teething, so she’ll need plenty of appropriate toys to keep her busy—and hopefully keep your shoes safe! 😂👟 She LOVES toys, especially anything with a rope that she can play tug-of-war with. 🪢🐾 Jadis is crate trained, working on potty training, and already knows how to sit and shake! 🐾👏 She’s a smart girl and learns quickly, especially when treats are involved. 😉🍖 And let’s just say… this girl LOVES her food! 😂❤️ Most of all, Jadis loves her people. Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee. Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. This sweet girl wandered onto a state park trail and was picked up by the Park Rangers. She is just a terrific girl who is looking for a new home. She is needing a lot of land to walk around on with defined fencing/perimeters. She does wonderful on a leash and has done well with other dogs. She loves riding in a car and still likes to play. Just a wonderful dog, ready to go!
